RE: Village is an example of this. If you skip anything, it will simply not load areas or play other events necessary to progression, like skipping talking to the Duke before heading to House Beneviento will cause the elevator to the area to keep going up eternally, and collecting every mask in Castle Dimitrescu without killing the daughters freezes the game once you try and trigger the Lady boss fight.

Reminds me of when I played around with the noclip command in Call of Duty: World at War's Zombie mode. You can fly above them, sure, but they'll literally climb on top of each other to try and grab you. It was more frightening than the actual game.

@@N3thStudios it is not plan B. basically it just detect the player x y z position and throw at it. Thats how the normal code, not a B plan. Just luckily, it didnt applied for chasing the player, if chasing the player also used the same behaviour, tracking the x y z position, well the monster will also able to fly when the player flies. But devs avoid that since it will cause buggy for the entire game.

Enemy pathfinding ai was probably ripping its own balls off trying to figure out what was happening

Imagine the developers of this game made a modification on how to deal with these kind of mods after seeing this video, such as.. the monster will still find a way and chase the player even using mods. That would be AMAZING !

@@leandrom.4314 Well the 2nd Birkin with the "parrot-head", is able to climb and jump pretty far ,so was kind of surprised he didn't find way up and after Leon , but then I realized why ,, it's not limitation of the boss , it's area cut offs , the battle is intended for that spot ONLY but this Leon has a breach the limiter invisible barriers walls Cheat at his disposal the boss is confused from that point forward ,,, nicely done with the walk through walls CODE very umbrella like ,,hee hee hee 😁👍

This video just displays the amazing level design of this game. The graphics are superb also. Best RE remake ever. Sad that RE3 remake was weak but hopefully they can recover from that. Re4 and re5 didn’t look horrible enough to remake IMO although I’d like to see it, it’s just kind of unnecessary

You know, this is low-key remarkable. RE2 and RE3 remakes are *incredibly* well put together from a technical aspect. When you skip triggers, the game largely doesn't chug or crash or even seriously glitch out. It just keeps going, chuggin' along as if you didn't just fuck it's continuity or game logic.

Sounds like a great feature for a game, if the mc wants to spare a boss have them show up again as a added boss in the next fight, and if you spare both of them, have both of them in the third boss fight

@@W1nds this is resident evil, all of the bosses are monsters, there’s no sparing them, if you had them on their knees and went “I’ll spare you” they’d rip you in half

Imagine if they predicted that someone would hack the game like this, so that if you get up there without actually going there as intended, Birkin rips the ladder down and actually runs at you

@@SUPERFunStick Mr. X should be the only enemy who has the capability of climbing ladders, I think Birkin's AI wouldn't be able to climb ladders.

Dude, I gotta give the capcom devs credit having birkin stage 3 throw the mini reactor at Leon despite the altitude. That's how you know more and more gamers are becoming devs. They know, bc they've done it with previous games

I'd imagine it's probably not necessarily intentional and instead just the result of the way it is programmed for normal gameplay (it probably specifically targets the player model, and altitude plays no factor)

Yeah, basically it just detect the player x y z position and throw at it. Thats how the normal code. Just luckily, it didnt applied for chasing the player, if chasing the player also used the same behaviour, tracking the x y z position, well the monster will also able to fly when the player flies. But devs avoid that since it will cause buggy for the entire game.

@@retzd flying wouldn't be possible if the game engine has proper collisions and navigation mesh

I think it’s amazing even when you attempt to break the game, it still runs smoothly.
