Now that I'm thinking about it: the remaining German army units on the eastern front might not have automatically surrendered to the holder of the land they were occupying. Perhaps Paradox or modders could add more options for governments in exile or perhaps dynamically generated "salient occupation authorities" and remnant armies?

For some reason if you have your navy operating in the sea zones around britain it's almost guaranteed axis will sealion. It's like they don't bother trying until the player tries, then they commit their fleets there. You don't even have to be on their team either. I was sweden->scandanavia fighting allies and axis, and put my 6 coastal ships on strike force around britain and they went for it

@@Arexsis Don't like that they made "flavoured" AI instead of "general" one. Like Soviets attacking with one division of several (at least in earlier versions) or Germany that never tries to do the Sea Lion. As paraxod'y add new mechanics to the game, the amount of such "flavoured" AI decisions only grows. For example, with MTG the most of the countries either never build ships or build only the basic ones. I call a "general AI" such kind of AI that may use any available mechanics, chooses to do what is considered by it to be the best at time, and never applies special-case human-made rules like "always/never do this". While using the concept of "general AI" doesn't automatically make it genius, it definitely helps to get rid of certain cases of imposed stupidity.
