As nice as it is to see Bardock interact with his youngest son Goku as an adult, this isn't the first time they've interacted in media, as Bardock and Goku are often put in situations where they meet, mostly in video games. It makes me want to see Goku meet his mother Gine though.

Again this is how I like them utilizing jiren. We don’t need jiren being the focus of the story where he fights the main villains and wins. I like jiren just being that op mystery character. He spars with bardock and both seem to be even however based on the facial expressions we know jiren isn’t even trying like at all. Keep him quiet, no more tantrums like in the TOP, and no more challenging his personal resolve. That was resolved when fighting Mui so now he should be totally fine with no resentment to the world.

Let us not forget Broly in canon did NOT get SSJ until Freeza shot daddy and lied. Movies 8 thru 10 or 11? One not being a Broly movie are all non-Canon. Only DBS Super movies are canon. I disagree. Vegeta eventually eventually looked down on his father for bending the knee to Freeza and Goku would have never liked his father either for being evil. The more they change DBZ the more they're ruining it. I prefer Bardock died trying to save his planet to all of this new stuff.

He was only happy at death for seeing the vision his son would fight Freeza, which he saw it as either revenge or self pride his son would fight, but in reality Goku was not fighting for him or their planets revenge. It was all selfish thoughts by Bardock. I like the character but he was still evil.

That is genuinely one of the worst ideas i have ever heard. Bardock is a horrible vicious murderer who has killed countless innocent people, him letting two people go doesn’t change that. It doesn’t matter if he didn’t want to do it he still did, "he would have been killed if he disobeyed" don't care still a selfish choice he put his own life above the billions of people he killed. I’m still upset they scrapped his role in confronting frieza before planet vegeta exploded. That was magnificent and took tremendous guts to do.

For people who didn’t know in the manga of dragon ball super the reason goku got true ultra instinct is because he found out about his father but he still has not met his mom. So in dragon ball he does know about his dad but he’s never like met his dad in person.

I'm surprised it didn't happen in the anime like he knew about bardock so he could of technically brought him back long enough for them to talk and stuff

Well, turning Bardock into a Super Saiyan just fucked with the original story. Goku was the first in ages to transform.

To be honest, they never even explored the reality or the possibility of the Universe 6 Saiyans being from Universe 7 as survivors, who got lost on a mission from Frieza, as part of a new conquest Frieza had in mind. As touching and awesome it would be for Goku or Vegeta to be reunited with their dead family, I'd rather know a little more about the Universe 6 Saiyans. Wouldn't it be cool if they introduced Cooler as the one who sent them to Universe 6, instead of Frieza? I think that'd be a nice touch at trying to bring some of the movies into being canon.

Its impressive to see bardock could keep up with ultra instinct goku for a few minutes it need super saiyan 3 awakening combine with dark aura just to keep up against an ultra instinct

That would be the worst day in dragon ball history, I think the best idea is to keep moving forward. Narratively speaking, reviving the saiyan race and goku's dad would not work well with goku and vegetas character. they both have been vocal about the saiyan race, goku admitted bardock fate was justified based on his evil deeds, and vegeta took pride in his father king vegeta reign. So to honor his father vegeta and the saiyan race to leave where fate has decided them.

Granolah the Survivor Saga resulted in Goku recalling his lost memories from his early life as Kakarot after hearing Bardock's voice from the Scouter recording of Bardock's battle with Gas! As a result, Goku now knows his parents sent him to Earth to save him from Frieza's planned Saiyan Genocide rather than as an infiltration baby as Raditz & Vegeta believed due to Gine using the infiltration baby practice as a cover story to cover up her & Bardock's theft of the Attack Ball that carried Kakarot to Earth & for the violation of Frieza's order to return to Planet Vegeta (which Vegeta ignored saving himself, Nappa, & Raditz, as well as two other adult Saiyans who ended up perishing some point before the Raditz Saga based upon Raditz's statements on the surviving Saiyans he knew of)! This is the closest Goku has come to actually meeting his father in the DBS manga (mind you I hope that Goku decides to take advantage of his ability to go to Other World via Instant Transmission or Fortuneteller Baba's ability to temporarily resurrect the dead to maybe connect with his parents (and possibly Raditz now that he knows Raditz & Vegeta were wrong about why he was sent to Earth)!
