I cried so had watching this exchange between Jason and Michael. I’ve been a viewer for many years, and way back then when Bobbie handed Jason Michael I was so young. I use to watch GH with my mom, when I got off the school bus. My mom is gone now, and it was touching to remember that beautiful time I had with her.

So glad Steve Burton is back… great actor and great character.

Exactly! Even Curtis was giving him the benefit of the doubt and knew that there was no way Jason would betray Sonny. He saw right through Selina Woo. She was really trying to convince him that Sonny set this whole thing up and that Jason turned on him. I was also glad that Christina was sensitive to Danny's feelings and reminded him and Sam that Jason was innocent until proven guilty.

@@Dee-jp6no …. Sam threw Jason away saying “oh he’s too dangerous for me and the children” then she spent the next 2 years chasing Dante into every dangerous situation. The writers forget that viewers remember Sam’s history as a criminal and grifter. The writers trashed Jasam as a couple for various reasons, I also read KM wanted to be paired with Billy Miller (don’t know if that was true) and Steve Burton was also leaving and of course it was time for Sam to find another family member to sleep with… LOL father, son, stepfather, sisters brother, friends husband, friends boyfriend. I hope the writers never put Jason and Sam together again… Steve Burton deserves a better storyline.

I like Jason, but he constantly prioritized other people and obligations over Sam & his kids. & I do think the criticism is valid that she should've understood her place before she married him. While I do think Kelly enjoyed working with Miller, she doesn't have control over storylines. That notion is ridiculous. Sometimes, writers like to take things in different direction. It seemed like before SBu exited, they were setting up Jarly, who make sense as a couple

I love these Jason scenes I can watch them over and over.

If jason just came into town, he had no involvement in curtis shooting.

Keep in mind that that Jason is Michael's uncle.

Obviously he counted on Jason not having his Jason Quartermaine memories because back in the day they were trapped on an island together and he introduced himself to Jason. I knew agent cates had something to do with Jason’s storyline. He came back to town and was over eager to take Sonny down. First he was trying to throw Anna and Dante off the investigation then conveniently knew to look for Jason at Carly’s place. He seemed to know to much about Jason’s where abouts.

@@aph1976even though his “ride or die” Sam was rewritten to not believe in him anymore. That just made me lose all hope for them. I have been less than thrilled with her performances over the last maybe third of her time on the show. She is just not right…I am rewatching the beginning of their relationship & it’s so lovely. Also have been watching the old episodes when Jagger first came on the show & he & Jason did not like each other at first, but later became good friends.

Not until the danger has passed. MICHAEL has a way of trying to “fix things,” and SONNY has a way of going over the edge which does when he is off his meds.

He hasn’t asked about anyone. In Jason’s mind he has a job to complete to protect someone he loves and he had no intention of anyone knowing he was alive until that happened. If Danny hadn’t found him he wouldn’t have asked about him either. It’s weird that fans are pretending that Jason was this active and present father to those boys and when he came back they would be his first stop. If you know Jason and you actually watch the show him going to Carly and then only wanting help from Michael is on brand.

Did Jason explain his tats? I hate it when they do this. I’m actually wondering about this story line. I’m so disappointed in how the people I thought would be there for Jason are so quickly against them. I’m especially disappointed with sonny. I was so excited for sonny to see Jason and instead he keeps putting him down. I was hoping for more action. Jason riding in on his motorcycle. Maybe the bad guys holding everyone and Jason saves the day. Oh well. I can dream. But sams attitude and sonnys really suck.

From the reaction to Jason’s death I knew Sonny really changed. He didn’t look like he cared much that Jason was gone so seeing him doubt Jason while it is surprising is still somewhat not surprising

I’m not surprised by sonny’s reaction at all. He’s always been quick to judge and has turned on Jason before. Additionally, he absolutely sees jason and Carly’s marriage and feelings for each other as a betrayal so it’s an easy jump for him to think he was betrayed again. Sam should know better but then again there are only two people who I expect to always be on Jason’s side and that’s Carly and Michael(we can maybe add Danny to the list now but time will tell) . Everyone else’s loyalty is dependent upon their relationship with him at the time or their relationship to whoever they think he harmed.

(Like being a cop guarantees they will come home in one piece every night🤨) CARLY has many faults; but she would lay her life down for either of her kids; or JASON’S. You just don’t like her.

@@dietracurvey7487Yes both Sam and Liz have played the you’re too dangerous to be a dad card. Carly doesn’t have to expect to come first with Jason she just does come first and she’s earned that. Carly has never told Jason he was too dangerous to be in her or her kids lives and when he tried to tell her that she rejected it. Her kids know that they can count on Jason for anything because that’s how Carly raised them. I’m not absolving Jason for being a trash father because he should be better but in Jason’s mind he was respecting their mother’s wishes and he was never going to go against that. People are always upset because Jason puts Carly above everything else but Carly puts Jason above everything else too it’s not a one sided relationship.

Then she gave him an ultimatum, he left.Sonny died, at Sonny's funeral Sam told Jason she was there for him always.She also told him even though they were not together he could see his children when ever he wanted.Sam always stood by Jason. I hate the ridiculous character rewrite of Sam.

I stopped watching GH years ago because I think that the writing has really been less than stellar in the last 12 years. Guza was the best Head Writer the show had. I love Jason and Carly's relationship as best friends and dont think it should have been tampered with. I was/am a JaSam fan and although characters evlove, I do not think Sam would have given up her relationship wtih Jason. Also, choosing to date a cop, well thats another story and the son of the father of your stillborn baby Bringing Jake back from the dead was utter nonsense. The baby switch with Danny and Tea baby was ridiculous. I know its a soap but make it make sense.

Who's writing the episodes now new or old writers cause they don't make sense. Why would cates have to introduce himself to Jason at Quantico they were friends. Why are Sam and sonny doubting Jason innocent.

Yay Jason is back. Will he go against agent Gates too save Sonny.....sense agent Gates want to bring Sonny down over something that happened long time ago. Someone hasn't moved on in their life.. Jagger

Patrick- wrote Jason holding Michael all those years ago- that moment was solid acting- But Jason should’ve felt that connection to his own kids- and that is the disconnect in this storyline- Jason should’ve emoted that type of caring towards his own child. Jagger a bad guy now? That makes no sense. Now if you would’ve said Berman, or Alcazar, or even the Cassadines I get that. This one I’m having serious trouble accepting that Stones brother is now crooked.- there’s zero story there. Britt’s dead- doesn’t Jason want to know about her? Doubt it. All the characters had grown except for Sonny, and Jason. And character after character is forced to regress for their storylines- Now it’s Drew. He’s Lila, remember? This other side makes no sense at all nor Carly’s reaction. I think I’m going to wait six weeks then weigh the stories again. Right now, it still feels imbalanced. Laura adopting ACE? You have got to be kidding me. That baby had a mom that did right by him. Then to give A send off to Spencer and give conflict to a plot driven romance they down grade Esme, and kill her off. To call, she’s off while Spencer is off. Trina isn’t seen. That’s because the entire storyline destroyed five characters- Plot drive any show just to get what you want- and you got nothing. If you want me to feel for Jason? Give me a reason that doesn’t involve destroying innocent characters for the sake of Carly getting her heart broken yet again.

@@joiisler3012lol Jason will tell you and anyone else that raising and loving Michael were his first experiences with being a father. That moment changed him. He was young, reckless and had a brain injury but when he held his Son that Carly trusted him enough to love and care for he changed. You can’t expect any memory with kids he barely got to raise to supersede that just because they are his biological children and Michael isn’t.
