It was around the time he was blowing up and taking over the world and literally there wasn't a performance where he wasn't wearing supras from like 2008 through like 2014! I still wear all my supras to this day! From the skytop, skytop 2 , vaider and society! I have about 72 pairs of supras. Clearly my all time favorite shoe brand!

Last week I boguht two supra skytop shoes from the internet. You know what.. I fucked up! i got scammed. I didn't know that supra stopped producing shoes anymore. It's so sad to me. I've never owned a supra shoe before. as I live in Europe I have never owned them. They should have never sold. Supra was a great footwear brand. I have only worn supra for about 12 years... massive shame. I was gutted when I found put they were gone!

Missed the few pairs I had. First skytops and TK society's I think. They were wild at the time and thought they would have more of a legacy. Showed a younger dude that I work with some Supras and he though they were wack af 😂

ever since supra stopped, I've had a hard time finding a new pair of shoes that I really like. Supras were the ones... I loved all the feature about the shoes. No other shoe did it better in my opinion. Now the shoe designs/feature they had are forever gone

Damn. I really miss this brand. I thought the reason why I couldn't find them was because of Covid with product shortages. Really bums me out that I can't get new Vaiders. Still have my OG Charcoal Canvas Vaiders with the sliding tongue emblem. But they're pretty trashed.

Brace yourselves! Veteran Supra Footwear collector has entered the stage! The brand truly ceased to exist as soon as it was sold. Not only did they stop the Factory 413 concept, which was the brand's bread and butter as this is where the limited releases dropped. Each strictly numbered to 413 pairs, most of the times. But they also messed with the shoe's designs badly. They removed the stash pocket from The Skytop, the cuban link chain from The Cuban, dropped the letter n from the model's name for some reason and made the shoe fit painfully narrow, removed the sliding enamel badge from The Vaider and side piping detailing, shortened the front bumper which made the shoes wear out faster when skating in them and the ultimate disrespect, traded the premium waxed laces for the cheapest cotton laces available and got rid of the iconic Supra Foam insole, which was the real reason why the shoes were selling on 1st place. And started putting out whack collabs completely unrelated to art and skateboarding like Disney, Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty. And truly the last nail in the coffin, their models no longer being engineered for skateboarding. The reason why the brand survived 7 more years was Chad Muska himself, as he tried real hard for the brand to never leave the spotlight and it showed, with The Decades Collection and lastly, with The Muska2000. Which was a real tragedy as it was inspired by his Pro Model with eS Footwear, but was truly just cashing out on The Chunky Sneaker Trend at the moment as it wasn't engineered for skateboarding.

@@Sal_lazaro I'm diamond hands with mines. Over the last decade when I landed my 1st and current job, as soon as I got paid, the very 1st thing I did was hunt for Supras on ebay. And Nike SB's, but that's another story for another time. I didn't get most of the stuff I wanted nor the way I wanted it, but I cherish it. I managed to get almost all versions of the Kamakazes, the ones missing being the Skytop 2 ones and the ultra rare Complex x Sony Piiq Skytop 2's. Not only DS with their sample tag and rubber tag on (which replaced the iconic plastic and Supra Foam tags) and with the extra yellow neon laces on their lace bag, but dirt cheap as well. Unquestionably, the best Skytop 2 of them all, as not only were they built in SupraTUF (Supras released in this material were waterproof and wicked away mud by cleaning them with a water hose) they had neoprene lining. A major improvement as, for some reason, even the canvas pair had leather lining done with the cheapest Pleather available. Which just like the detailing on The Vaiders and Skytop 1's it fell apart after a while, staining everything it came in contact with. Which were a giveaway but contest winners were never announced, leading to think it was straight up cancelled and if any pairs actually came out of it, they became strictly for Friends And Family. And with me as a witness, I can safely say that was the case as mines are my actual size, which is 8.5. Completely unusual, as usually sample pairs come strictly on 9. The other samples that came on different sizes being the promo Vaiders for Lost and Armored. Which out of the blue popped up on ebay, for a 100 bucks a piece. All DS with box. The Lost ones even coming with a copy of the script for the last episode and the mug. Unfortunately, I struck out on those as, they came out on a time of personal financial struggle were I just straight up gave up on hunting sneakers to add for my collection. The only other person that made their existence public before me, is Leo Chipmunk. The Org's forum founder, and quite possibly, the ones responsible for the Kamakaze Skytop 2's existence. As one of their members customized a pair of Skytop 2's done in the way of The Kamakaze 1's. And just after the forum got shut down by Supra Footwear themselves, and for obvious reasons as the forum was straight up named after the brand, the Kamakaze 2 officially drops as a Factory 413 Edition. Too much of a coincidence. Other personal grails I managed to snag being The Purple Suede Tk Society's, Jim Greco's Supranos on the ultra coveted Red Snakeskin color and a DS sample pair of The Gold Snakeskin Suprano Low with box. All of them for dirt cheap. I could safely say I made it, considering how lately it has been next to impossible to get a hold of Supras. And what you get, it's mostly the garbage that came out from when it was sold off. Whoever is the current owner of Angel Cabada's babies KR3W and Supra, is attempting a soft reboot. KR3W has already returned, with brand new website and everything. But little next to nothing to show for it. As for Supra, it seems to be an Asia exclusive now. It checks out, considering it was sold to some chinese group. I once saw on eBay some all white and all red leather Skytop 2's being sold in Japan. Not sure if those are the pairs that signal the brand's return, or just some leftover material for a quick and last cash grab.

I bought a pair of Skytop 1s(001) from a Ross(an overstock place), and I wanted to ask: Did they remake the Skytop 1s after the change in company owners? I've looked into it pretty hard whether or not I got fakes and it seems I didn't. It has the stash pocket, logos all look the right sizes and shapes, made in china, etc. etc. The only thing that looks different is like you said, the sole doesn't have that differently colored heel bit. So did they remake a lesser quality Skytop 1?

Man I’m so bummed to be finding this out I actually wanna cry. I’ve loved these shoes for years and wear them til they’re dead. Now I go to replace a few pairs just to find this out, I just don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself what a gut punch. I really don’t think there is a cooler looking shoe than the skytop and vaider. I regret not taking better care but I’m not a collector. I was so confused last year when I was looking for sneakers but couldn't find any Supras. Their designs were so far ahead of their competition, most other shoes look so boring.

I absolutely adore Supra’s. My favourite brand, literally the only high tops I would wear. I never realised at the time that they closed down, I just started to find it harder and harder to get hold of them and then someone told me the terrible news 😢 Nowadays I still wear them but tend to collect any that I come across. Problem is there are so many websites selling fakes or pretending to sell Supra when in fact you will never receive them that it’s almost impossible to source them now unless used. I hope and prey they bring the brand back 🙏🏼

I still can find new pair of supra in malaysia ❤ as of right now have skytop 001, skytop 002 and tk society all new and legit. Because have 1 shop that sell the shoes but never got to sell all of them and the shop has kept the shoes for 10/12 years in the box waiting for someone to pick em up.

I couldn't believe it when Supra went under, lol....Skytops and TK's are nostalgic as hell now.

Supra always had fly shoes. Makes sense they were affiliated with krew. Krew had some of the flyest hoodies and pants. Those chords were amazing

@@urjnlegend I can't speak for other products he's selling since I only bought the Skytop 2 from him but they look and feel legit. Compared to my other supras in my collection. I do plan on getting some Skytop 1s and vaiders from him in the next couple months

even Steve Rogers had them on in captain America 2 🤷🏻‍♂️ they would have been better off selling to some one like adidas as it might have live on. but probably the best looking topps out there up to now.

I miss my society II they were my absolute favorite with the red bottoms!!! Sadly they fell apart quickly i needed to constantly buy a new pair so on a whim today I decided to buy a pair after 12 years from my last purchase only to find out supra is a shell of what it used to be 😭😭😭 the website now has ugly shoes now. I miss Supra so much. Still not found a pair of shoes as comfortable and as slick as my Skytop IV's and every time I try to find a pair I get sadder. The company is a shit clothing brand/nft peddler now and it's such a waste of what used to be THE best shoe brand.

Krew went so hard and Chad mushe made Supra not jay z I never even knew jay z was involved lol

I gave zero fucks who wore them or whether they were popular. I just loved the quality, comfort & look of skytop 2, 1 & vaiders. S1w were cool looking but miserable to wear. Skytop 3's were a whole different sizing & didn't fit so I couldn't say whether they were comfortable cuz the size i wore in all supras were hella small in skytop 3's. 4's were cool but not as flexible as 1s & 2's. I always forget the name of the 1s that were similar to sky2's but had less flair & a weird bulky sole. Still dope but I'd take sky2 over them any day. I still live in my 2's. Been wearing for yrs. Tk society looks good on a shelf but not a fan of wearing shoes with upper straps. Look a bit goofy on imo.

Supra high tops are best looking shoes imo.

Used to own skytops until the leather on the upper rotted.

This was truly disrespectful, as them joints were more expensive than Jordans were at that time. More specifically the detailing parts and the lining. Fortunately that last part didn't happen often. And it's a real shame as that's what happened to The Comakazi Skytop, the shoe that made the brand blow up.

I have at least 15-20 pairs of Supra’s shoes a lot still in damn near new condition. I love their shoes they were great. Now i try not to wear them as much because i don’t wanna ruin them and because you cant buy them new anymore🥲🥲
