Yes, abusers force you to give up what brings life and happiness, and they threaten to leave you if you don't comply. That is pure manipulation. He's given up rank, career, position, family, nation.....that is really too much to ask someone to give up, but she likely threatened to leave with or without him. I mentioned to my own mother over dinner than Harry’s Not-yet-wife had read all these books and was so obsessed with Diana, and then purposely wore his Mum’s favorite perfume ON THEIR FIRST DATE. My own mother let out a little shiver and had a physical reaction when she heard that fact. I didn t care much. Until a few months ago when i fell into a rabbit hole and the first thing I saw was their post engagement interview and it felt sooo suspicious the way she spoke for him and hold his hand and looked at him. He looked like a bird that doesn't know it's caged. Most people would confuse that for love but I know full well what that was. Still i gave her benefit of the doubt. Then i read about the perfume Diana wore and the similar clothes and all that and i was like "well....there we go, i was right". And then I talked to a friend of mine and he saw the Oprah interview and I asked him like did you see her sociopath level? And he was like: I don't know, she seemed perfectly nice and normal to me. 😐

That's why, in my opinion, Harry should have picked a wife with a genuinely humble personality. Harry's never going to be a king and as time passes by, he's going to be less relevant in the monarchy and so does his wife. A truly humble and loving woman will accept and love him for who he is, not what his status is and what it will be in the future. She will not try to compete with the future queen (Catherine) because she knows her place and is grateful enough to be married into the world's most prestigious family. Harry should be very grateful every second of his life that he was born into a very wealthy and powerful family. Even though he will never be a king, he's guaranteed to live a luxurious life (he will receive and have received a huge amount of inheritance from both sides of his family) for the rest of his time on earth. Vast majority of people in this world don't have that privilege. If we don't work we will starve and the pandemic also has made people's lives a lot harder and stressful due to job loss and numerous other reasons. Sophie, the Countess of Wessex is a good example of a royal wife in my opinion because she knows full well that her husband is now far down in the line of succession and she's always content with her position in the family. She never tries to become the next Princess Diana and she never tries to upstage anyone for attention. She just does her duties as a wife, mother, and working royal as best as she can without expecting too much in return. Harry should have looked for a wife like the Countess of Wessex or Meghan should have learned from her what it's like to be a royal woman. But we all know that Meghan is a narcissist and Harry should have realized many years ago that he needs a wife who's supportive, loving, and most importantly, humble and full of gratitude.

I cannot blame him. I did exactly the same thing many years ago, including moving to another country. If one has never encountered this type of person before it's difficult to imagine someone being so calculating and callous. Mailing back the wedding rings was a real eye opener.

Don't count on Harry merely returning to his 'old life.' He's made himself a pariah and is an emotional mess who clearly lacks the skills needed since Diana's death to handle any emotional crisis. He bears close watching when she dumps him.

Not true. Sometimes the narcissist makes the mistake of letting you off the hook. I was married to one for 11 years before she kicked me out one day (10 years ago). If she had not, you would probably be right. I would never have left my children. Despite the subsequent hell which ensued as I fought for them to be with me (even though I had been their primary carer since they were born), my life has been relatively joyful ever since. My only struggle now is for the psychological health of my children. They hate her despite all the excuses I have made for her behaviour. It's not good for them, but neither is being vulnerable to her games... It is difficult to ever know what to do or say about it with them.

If Harry split up with her and returned to the UK, he would have been deeply hurt and badly damaged for a second time in his life. He would come to realize that he had been used and exploited by his wife, he would lose his children to her, and he would come to understand that he had been wrong all the way and had helped Meghan inflict injustices on his family. I doubt he could ever fully recover from a trauma like this.

I actually didn’t care so much about monarchy, but after seeing how she tried to monetize it and trash it using the most vulnerable member of their family, well I kinda sympathize with the RF.

This was me exactly. Only ever really noticed the RF of GB when something big happened and they made the news. It has been impossible not to notice this snake crawling through the family striking with her poison tongue constantly, though. It is sad to see this happen to decent people and I'm afraid the snake isn't anywhere near through with her evil workings yet!

I've been through a similar relationship albeit at a far less glamorous scale yet left a truly deep and long lasting effects on myself. Luckily I didn't marry her but during that relationship I basically became a stranger to my own family and friends and leaving behind the things that I used to value. If a partner leads you further away from the people in your life, your passion and your values, run for the hills.

Crashing his friend’s wedding is a major red flag to me. Why couldn’t he have seen it?

Thank you for your insight. This is so terribly sad. It is so difficult to move to a different culture. I can only imagine that if you are not happy and stranded from your family, how double difficult that may be.

He didn't even look happy on his wedding day. But as you say, the warnings were there before. Not only did she crash Skippy's wedding but she made a scene. They had a very loud argument which made an already awkward situation much, much worse. The coercive control is monstrous.

All of this massive life and personality changes He is not smiling and outgoing, he is not speaking too his lifelong friends and his brother, he quit being a royal, he denounces many of the activities he used to enjoy with his family (hunting, shooting, polo,etc) being a 👑 prince, he talks about money and his mother (but only in relation to MM) and he moved to a different continent/country to her hometown, all for her. People that make changes like this for someone tend to resent them.

The most tragic thing about being in a relationship with a narcissist is that it takes so very long to extricate from it. I'm afraid Harry has a very long road ahead. It may not seem he has any lower to go but I can assure you he does. I do feel for him.

I think their zoom call perfectly illustrates their relationship. Even though there was obviously room for both of them to equally be on camera, Meghan persistently stands in the middle and at one point you can see her pushing him more out of frame.

The number one way of identifying a cult is if it tries to seperate you from friends and family.

Conversely Diana also wore a custom made highly floral perfume on her wedding day, as did Kate. Does that make her a bad person too? This article is incredibly biased, and inaccurate.

It's only natural he was gonna look for a similar partner. In his girlfriend's case it's all staged. She's not strong she's pretending to be that. She knew exactly what he looked for.

But that is the one and only time I have ever seen her, even as a kid, look that way.
