Very informative and well done. I hadn't realized he had the chipping/pitching yips. Tiger Woods was a big admirer of his golf swing and Hunter played quite a bit with Woods. I'd heard that Hunter tried to model his swing off of Woods' swing and it destroyed his game.

Love all of your videos Mitchell and I sure was wondering what happened to him? So many golfers fall off the radar as it's a hard game to keep your skills on the highest level! So many great young players now so trying to back to the top will be harder than ever now!

Hunter seems like one of the good guys on tour. I wish him well. As all golfers know there is only a small line separating the elite golfers from the average touring pro. His swing still looks solid to me and we all know if he puts in the work, he’ll figure it out.

I wish Hunter all the best, the Tour would certainly be better with him in the field. Stay strong Hunter, its just a small change that can have you back where you belong. You have all the physical tools, and anyone who knows anything about golf, knows you can make it back.

The line between the very top players and losing your card is so razor thin it's ridiculous. The level of play and competition out on tour is so high now he would be better off just kicking back and enjoying life. With the swelling of purses on the PGA Tour and the trickle down of the money onto the Korn Ferry Tour. I personally think the goal now should be to make the Korn Ferry Tour at a minimum. I only say that because it wasn't that long ago what they're playing for on the Korn Ferry Tour now is what they were playing for on the PGA Tour. The big difference is the endorsement deals that come with being on the PGA Tour. A player isn't going to score those lucrative deals playing on the KFT, but the prize money isn't bad. A social media minded player could do quite well for themselves on the lower tours.

Those who play Golf know it can be a very cruel game, much more than just playing the game itself. It’s a big challenge, very fun and rewarding, but…….. As amateurs we can take the good with the bad (hopefully) but as a professional, if it’s not ALL good, then it’s pretty bad.

Hunters swing is not for the longer courses of today. For example, his swing is the exact opposite of Justin Thomas who hits it far. Hunters swing is more about timing than getting the body into it like a Gary Player for another example.

Enjoy broadcasting career, be a good life for you.

I really think what played on his mind was being beaten by GMac, but age is against both of them now, he had a excellent run, a truly great player that that sadly didn't win a major

Last I saw of him was when he was leading a tournament and dumbass withdrew after his wife had already given birth. I believe that did him in forever just like when Chip Beck was in contention for Masters but laid up on a par 5 with just 200 yds and he took bogey and ended his career too.

Hunter started chasing distance with a goal of flying his driver over 300 yards. This happened about the time as his first child was born. As well as after his critical confidence had been dashed too. With three kids 4 or under and enjoying being dad the time put into the change as not enough and he lost his reliable ball striking. He had an incredible run and is a great guy but now a great father not a great golfer.

Hunter is 39 and been playing competitive golf all his life. That’s the only thing that makes him tick. He will continue to play golf competitively for many more years he can’t stop. Leaving Foley was a huge mistake. I’d say he will be back, needs to just clear out all the distractions and get stuck into it.
