Butterbean almost killed Bart Gun. That KO punch was legit brutal.

The intro alone is always worth the like. The content is just gravy on top deserving another like.

I am not defending JBL at all but i think a drunken man (except haku) is very easy to beat hey as 12 year old i easily push a full grown man (drunken) 2x my size me at 12 160lbs the guy 300+ not kidding

There cannot ever be enough videos about the Brawl for All.

This is the first time I've heard Bart Gunn's story. Its really intriguing. Electrician turned wrestler turned upset badass turned back to electrician.

@@rtsharlotte WWF wasn't a billion dollar multinational company at the time. It was still a couple years from going public. Just a 18 months earlier they were making office cutbacks because of lower ratings

Fun Fact: Vince Russo created the Brawl for All for the sole purpose of getting Bradshaw pulverised on live television.

So Steve Blackman asked if he was allowed to take out another wrestlers knee and then ended up injuring his own... That is so funny and karmic that I'm surprised Adam didn't point that out.

If I had a time machine, I'd tell Blackman not to mention kicks and just go out there and cripple the entire midcard lol. Would have been much more entertaining if they weren't so scared of him

Bart’s wife at the time was a substitute teacher. She worked at my school for a bit and brought him to class for a show and tell.

It should be noted and expanded upon that while WWE held a grudge against Bart, he had good success in Japan. Over there (particularly at the time) "legitimate" wrestlers are highly valued and he made a good run based entirely on BfA. Afterwards he actually did MMA going 1-1 against two well known fighters (Cabbage Correira) and Ikuhisa Minowa; the last one being in PRIDE.

Blackman MMA actually had a few fighters in local tournaments, seems like a decent teacher.

There's a couple of guys who didn't enter the tournament that probably would have done a good job if they had. Ken Shamrock, Vader, and Owen Hart come to mind, specifically.

The brawl for all wasn't mma, if it was Dan Severn would have probably walked it the only two people who could have made him sweat were Steve Blackman and Dr death, but I think Severns experience in mma would have seen him through. But it was a toughman contest, and in that WWE were not unique many small time wrestling promoters in the territory days held similar contests.

Yup once Bart Gunn left the wwe he worked in All Japan during 1998-'02 and New Japan through 2002-'04. On June 9, 1999 Bart Gunn and Johnny Ace (Laurinaitis) won All Japan's World Tag-team Championship from Jun Akiyama and Kenta Kobashi, holding the titles for 44 days until losing them to Takao Omori and Yoshihiro Takayama.

The Brawl for All ruined so many wrestlers careers. I remember watching this as a kid and I can see why it was used as an idea but very poorly thought out.

I think Brakus debut match in WWE already this Brawl for All Tournament so he doesn't seems to have a wrestling career to begin with considering the outcome of his contest here. As for Butter Bean, WWE should book him another match with Brock Lesnar in the next several Wrestle Mania. It would be a much better match between them.
