When writing the script , narration and editing portion , I had completely forgotten to write the Charlo bit (Had alot to say in his come up to becoming Undisputed). I was too far in production to go back and fill in. I filled in the dates when his reign had started and had it as a slide .

Josh Taylor's one needs a bit more detail - Taylor was soundly beaten by Jack Catterall, or at least that is what every single onlooker saw, because the judges gave an inexplicable decision victory to him despite Catterall hurting him, out working him and generally getting the better of him for the majority of the fight. Taylor vacated, but this is to allow a second fight with Catterall to go ahead. Taylor still says he won - he didn't - but still fair enough for giving Catterall a second chance with hopefully a fair outcome this time around. Shame this means him winning wouldn't make him undisputed like he deserves to be.

The major downside in MMA there's absolute no way to prove your the best in MMA, it's a promotional illusion. There's no MMA champion. Just a champ from that MMA organization. MMA organizations like UFC refuse to allow their fighters to fight others from different organizations. That'll be like if the WBC, IBF ,WBA , WBO refused to allow unifications. You move up that belt organizations, you become Champ and that's it . In boxing you move up those rankings, you become Champ , you fight your mando and the next best step to prove you're the best is to unify against a fighter from a different organization. In MMA this'll be the equivalent of a UFC champ fighting a Rizen , Bellator or One FC champ .

@@colenicholson9486 not just someone dangerous, someone two weight classes above him. Look at what happened when Canelo fought Bivol. Its a huge ask, at welterweight Brook was a force until that life changing fight with GGG and tbh Brook was winning until his face broke. He's been paying the price ever since. And I again I'll repeat look at who Mayweather has fought since pacquaio. If he was this force you speak of he wouldn't have fought bums ever since.

0:51 - "The 4 belt era started in 2007" = NO, this is not correct. It started in 2004, a whole 3 years earlier when Bernard Hopkins defeated Oscar De La Hoya to unify ALL major world championship belts; WBC, WBA, IBF & WBO + Lineal title belt in the Middleweight division. And then Hopkins became the first man to also defend all the belts when he out-boxed Howard Eastman later same year. 4:21 - NO that text reference is alo not correct. Cecilia Braekhus was NEVER the first 4 belt undisputed champion in boxing as a whole in 2014. Again P4P it was Bernard Hopkins who was THE first man ever to unify all 4 major worlde championship titles back in 2004 + FIRST to defend all titles as well same year. Extra fact: The first boxer P4P to have held all 4 major title belts at various times in his career was Heavyweight Riddick Bowe, who had the WBC, WBA, IBF + Lineal title from 1992-1993 and from March 1995 - 5 May 1996 was the WBO world heavyweight champion = The first man to have at various points held all major world title belts, even if the WBO title was not in the USA recognized the same way as it was in Europe and South American regions.

@@OfficeHanchoBoxing I see. But thje WBC was the very last organization to recognize the WBO title and they did that in 2003. In fact if Wladimir Klitschko did not have lost to Corrie Sanders in that upset loss, there is a big chanse Lennox Lewis planned fight with him would have been a WBC/WBO/IBO unification that would have landed in early 2004, even if not all belts would have been on the line.

Undisputed means u got all the legitimate belts in the division. Those are the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF belts. The IBO is the most prominent illegitimate belt and is the extra one u often see some fighters have but its nowhere near as important and some fighters actively ignore it. If u have just one of the legitimate belts then ur a world champ, if u have 2 or 3 of the legitimate belts ur a unified champ and if u have all four of the legitimate belts them ur the Undisputed champ of that division, basically top dog. There's also the ring magazine belt which is basically a belt made by ring magazine to show who's the top guy of that division in their opinion regardless of who's champion or unified etc. The lineal champion is someone who beat the guy who beat the last guy basically. It dates back to when boxing first started as a sport and before the alphabet belts and is pretty much not cares about all that much by most but still can be important for promotion. For e.g Tysoe fury vacated his belts but was still lineal when he came back to boxing and since he hasn't been beaten he is still the lineal champ from the old skl line of boxers. The WBA specifically has a Duper champ(the real one) and the regularl champ. The regular is basically just an interim belt but can be used and promoted as a big money fight essentially and if a super champ vacates the regular can sometimes be promoted to super champ

Wtf with the hate on the lower weight classes?? Naoya Inoue won all 4 belts and was undisputed at bantamweight (118 lbs) like a month before this video was made in November 2022 I think 🤣... He then went up to super bantamweight (122 lbs) in July 2023 and KO'd Stephen Fulton for his 2 belts (WBC and WBO). It's already been announced he's looking to fight Marlon Tapales for his WBA and IBF belts at super bantamweight so it's possible that he becomes a 2-time undisputed champion at bantamweight and super bantamweight before the end of 2023 depending on how negotiations go with Tapales. And to be completely honest, if all goes well and according to plan, Inoue could realistically become undisputed at featherweight (126) and junior lightweight (130). That would make him a 6-division champion, 4 times undisputed. If there's anyone in the boxing world that could accomplish it, in my estimation it's Inoue.
