Mushroom really helped my life and family, especially my dad who had cancer and is taking turkie tail mushrooms that was recommended by his friend and today he has no cancer anymore . He was taking 4 capsules daily as he was told and all thanks to nature..

I have been cancer free for three years now. Without doubt the biggest improvement to my health have come from ..fredshroom. I have implemented the diet and advice used by the guy. Tannenbaum and fast 20 hours daily. I have also learned to forage natural reishi, Turkey tail and chaga mushrooms from the forest here west. I consume them in tea daily and I noticed a significant reduction in inflammation.

Sir fredshroom is amazing, he's like the Dr house of solution for lots of problems. Cancer free for three years, I hope you can multiply it with 10. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!..

Hi I have read your comments can you have these mushrooms in powdered form and add it to smoothie or does it have to be tea?.

WOW. WHAT A BRILLIANT OPENER! That literally made me laugh out loud. Yes, exactly why we learn through experience, not solely through books, videos, podcasts. You have to have personal interaction with nature to truly understand it. Great video!

This reminds me of the other day when I saw an unfamiliar bird in my backyard. My instinct was to pull out my phone to find its name but I decided to challenge myself to come up with my own for it first. In doing so, I ended up noticing more about its behavior and interactions with the environment than I would have otherwise. It forced me to pay attention to the characteristics presented before me right then, not in a description. Also means Eastern Bluebirds now have the much cooler name of Blue Bungees in my mind, as they kept hopping down from a low branch to grab something on the ground before seamlessly "bouncing" right back up to their spot.

In this world of disconnected connectiveness (is that a word lol), I appreciate your informative videos that ‘get us out there’ to see what’s going on. I’m old enough to be your grandmother, my grandmother could go out and pick a meal from the woods. She used to share this knowledge at a local college but her knowledge is lost to me and everyone now. I still love to walk through the woods and breath in the air under the canopy. but, sadly, although I loved being with her, I did not pay enough attention to her in that way. She told me I could eat the dandelions when she came to live with us in town. My Dad, who is in his 80s now, told me I could chew on pine sap for gum and wintergreen for fresh breath when we would go camping, hiking, or swimming. He has shared his very limited knowledge of her but regrets that he didn’t pay as much attention to what she knew. I love the exploring and being in the outdoors. But living now keeps me inside. I look for books to help me identify different plants but haven’t found a reliable field guide. The app I have on my phone isn’t as useful to me as I would like. Keep up your hard work of sharing this kind information because it can help us appreciate this beautiful, living planet. In a meaningful way, you are bringing the outdoors into the lives of people who have gotten away from their roots or would like to start learning about the world outdoors.

So glad to see someone teaching ecological relationships, Dr. H! In high school, biology has turned into biochemistry, very little to nothing about ecology nor biodiversity. Today, a biology teacher can identify a protein molecule but can't identify an oak tree, much less that oak's relationship with the animals and fungi around it. Thanks, Dr. H!!

Our modern education is much like a microscope, which is an extremely useful tool! The first lesson of microscopy is that magnification comes at the cost of resolution; the closer you look the less clarity you have.

Would love Adam to try an go to Alaska Bone Yard! He was on Joe Rogan Podcast explaining his property had Thousands of wooly mammoth bones, but he also said in the spring he has plants an flowers that haven’t been seen in 12,000 years, since before the Ice age. It would be a beautiful sight to see some of these plants cultivated and studied

Fantastic topic! Wilderness literacy is something I've been trying to learn more about in the last year or so but it's so difficult to find sources that go deeper than a simple ID and a few uses. It would be neat if you could make a video on reading landscapes on the fly or maybe a series on developing one's literacy

That’s so funny because I have one of those Scarlet cups growing from a stick in a jar on my windowsill with a piece of moss little terrarium style and I didn’t know what it was and I haven’t taken the time to idea but there it is thanks for that. Also what a phenomenal way to illustrate a point. And I’m fascinated with what the names of everything are but it is so much more important what they do how they fit into the greater picture etc.

These videos always brighten my day. If people concentrated on what’s important in life the forests would be crowded and there would be a shortage of fishing poles.

I loved this, for me, review, and new information about connections in the natural world and its denizens. As a teacher and academic, I love exploring the connections in not only the natural world, but in all aspects of life, and constantly challenged my students to search for them -- so I greatly appreciate your stressing them in this video. (Incidentally, I also enjoyed meeting Marigold, and commend you for rescuing and making a cherished pet of this lovely blind stray.)

For every cause there is effect. The nutrients in the soil came from somewhere. My point is everything has its place in the transfer of life/energy. The smallest possible changes could have devastating effects on the future of life forms. It's good to know what is beneficial in what environments to keep them healthy flourishing. As always, informative and very well presented. I appreciated the analogy using Marigold, and loved that you took her in. Tortoise shells are one of my favs. A stray cat we rescued had a litter with one male tortoiseshell and one female tortie; but the male's rib cage would not grow causing a slow suffocation and had to be put down. We kept the female tortie and the kids named her Plaid. That's my tortie cat story - vaguely but not really related to your vid. lol.

This is fantastic! I started watching your videos last year and enjoyed mushroom hunting with my camera late last summer and early fall. I also like to watercolor paint. I think, along with field book, the "WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHY AND WHERE" would be great to list next to my nature sketchbook/watercolors. Thanks for sharing more of your insight!
