If Max wins China this weekend, he will have won 50% of all races since the last time we were in China, he is already among the GOATs. There can't be a definitive GOAT in motorised sports due to advances in technology and changes in rules imho..

@@mavadelo there can be, because title its not the reference. Its the word between drivers. And max is clearly the best from the line up now. All the drivers know he is the best. Looking at all his numbers all the past seasons. there is just no one who could beat him. Lewis is struggling with george, struggled with rosberg, something like that is impossible with max and everyone knows.

@@thechief597Norris and Leclerc are better then Hamilton too. Lewis is just more experienced. I would say Russel and Alonso are better drivers too. And Bearman and Lawson coming up fast. I think Lewis his winning days are over. He needs to have the fastest car on the grid to win. And he doesn’t anymore. Simple aa that.

Wel it's becoming very clear Lewis doesn't got the raw talent Max has got. Shown by Russel the last 3 seasons. He really needs a fast car to be fast, Max is fast in a fiat 500.. Whatever he drives he gets the best out of the car, that's something Lewis can't do.

There are many drivers in F1 and am sure that some of them in same car would do similarly well! There is no doubt that the team and car are just if not more important than the driver nowadays!

The 2021 season was one of the best in F1 history and had an ending that despite one walking away with a championship and one not, had no real winners. Both drivers deserved to win that title without doubt and even I am a RB/Verstappen fan, I was gutted for Lewis. FOr Lewis it will always be the missed opportunity, for Max it will always be "the Championship I got lucky in the end". It also caused one of the most toxic times in F1 that in some way lingers untill this day. I hope Lewis made the right choice going to Ferrari and he can battle for that 8th. your "haters" video was off the mark, something I was a bit surprised about. This one was much more in line with what I have seen from you. No need to make things seem nicer or worse than they are.

I believe for Max that’s testimony to his incredible talent and to his dream as a champion because that season as a whole he proved he was from another planet. He challenged Lewis in his first title fight, against one of the greatest and went toe to toe with him despite Lewis having the experience and be there and done that etc. It said when Max has the opportunity he will get it, it was the first time that he could challenge the mercedes from race to race

I wouldn't say he hates max, but for sure he does not like him, LH is a whiner, a great great driver, but not a racer. As soon as it is wheel to wheel, Lewis starts complaining and asking for penalties. I bet if there were traffic lights on track Lewis would stop for Orange where Max would put his feet on the pedal and risks the fine. That is the difference between Verstappen and Lewis, pure aggression (in the good way).

@@svogender Essentially, yes. There's just a few key differences. The Merc was far more dominant than the RB despite what people say. People tend to forget the past and focus on the present more, which in this case leads to people saying RB is the most dominant car when really, it isn't. Secondly, Max his titles don't make him one of the all time greats. Look at Alonso, 2 titles, but 5 points away from 5 titles and I'd consider him one of the best drivers ever. He was just, unlucky. What truly sets Max apart and what Lewis is lacking, is the records. Lewis his longest win-streak is 5, which is impressive but, Michael Schumacher is on 7. Fangio is on 7. Vettel on 9. Max a streak of 5, 9 and 10 currently. Most of Lewis his records are based on just being in the sport for a long time and having the best car on the grid for 8 seasons. Lewis his titles don't mean as much simply because, the car was far more dominant most of the time and well, Rosberg beat him... And I wouldn't say Rosberg is what we consider a talented once in a lifetime driver. This is my view of Lewis. Yes he's got 7 WDC's but, he's just a driver like Rosberg. Good yes, but not someone that should be considered the GOAT. Say Rosberg had Bottas as his teammate from 2014, he would've been a 7 times world champion, would you say he's the GOAT? Perhaps, but really, no. Max his first title, while controversial, was deserved. He didn't deserve the Abu Dhabi victory sure, but he deserved to finish the race at Silverstone and therefore would've still beaten Lewis. Amongst other things, he deserved that title while driving in the inferior car. 2022 season, the Ferrari was the same if not better than the RB at least until the summer-break. Max had to come from way behind on points to catch up to Leclerc who had the second best start to a season ever in terms of points. Only 2023 was really just pure dominance, but again, Max in a dominant car isn't the same as Lewis. Lewis isn't really legendary to me cause, well he is just an average driver who had the best car, and 10 drivers on the grid would've been in his position. Max on the other hand, while sure, the titles might still go to Red Bull, breaks records on a constant basis. If you put anyone else in that car, tehy're not winning 10 races in a row. They are not leading 1000 laps in a season. They're not breaking a 71 year old record from 1952 in terms of win %. These are the things that set him apart in 2023, Lewis SHOULD have broken all those records with the car he had, but he didn't. He just... isn't as good of a driver. Not as consistent, and well not that legendary. But rest assured he'll be a legend in the future when people forget these things and only look at stats :p.

Take out Hamilton and Alonso and Max has almost twice as many wins as the rest of the field combined. Is it 57 or 58 now?

Hamilton doesn't even come close to Legend Max.

@@barryalangroves8759Most of Hamilton’s WDC were the result of having the superior car by far. RB never was as dominant and it has to do more with the talent of Max…So, no comparison, Max is superior to Lewis…!
