    processed sugar is even more addictive than recreational drugs, like cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, etc. I have seen many people quit the drugs, but few quit can quit the processed sugar, which is the REAL drug scourge in this nation, and claims many more lives than drugs, alcohol and cigarettes combined every year. The food corporations know how addictive processed sugars are, hence their sticking it in everything. Take care.

    True I'm clean from the Crack Epidemic kicked my A.. clean 25 years now. But sugar saturated fats salt and oil 's hard to kick. And I know why. Part of my addiction. Been in recovery for over 30 years now. SOS salt oil sugar saturated fats in everything.

    Hi Dr. Frita! Is Agave nectar bad? I thought its a healthy alternative to sugar. What about Stevia? I've been using a sweetener similar to Crystal light bc I am soo burnt out on just plain water but It's sweetened with stevia. Last thing, is pb&j healthy? I saw a study that suggests eating pb&j adds years to your life. I don't see how when peanut butter and jelly are loaded with sugar not to mention the 🍞. Thanks for the video!

    One thing I use more now is natural raw honey.. I rarely use sugar unless I eat something sweet 😊

    It's incorrect that you should brush your teeth right after you eat sugar. Doing that will wear out your enamel.

    I guess you know the last 2 minutes 30 sec of this video is blank. You should look into some interactive video graphics you could add. I think you did good with this video. Would have been nice to see the other names of those sugars printed on screen. I follow a lot of Eric Berg Chiropractor. I heard that glucose can be absorbed into any cell in your body providing you don't have insulin resistance. But only your Liver can process Fructose. I spent too many decades drinking pop, now consider high fructose corn syrup as toxic. I had thought fruit juices was healthy. I've found Keto and do intermittent fasting. I'm interested in the idea that if your Mitochondria are healthy, that you can't get cancer.
