Great Video and simple explanation of the parts. I got a bone stock 97' dodge ram 2500 4x4 w/auto trans that has only 49,000 miles on it looks like new. The only thing I did was add a Banks air box which helped turbo spool up little quicker. Never had a diesel and am trying to learn what can do to help get it to tow and basically have more reliable power for it. I've had many people want to buy it all the time. Can't wait to get it working better for towing trailers. It really slows on hills on freeways! So keep up the videos, will be watching.

If you want to tow don’t throw the biggest turbo instead do something like a k27 and 369 compound kit with a bit of fueling and you will have one of the best trucks around it will spool faster than your truck now and pull harder then you ever need it

We're starting to see some serious vehicles on the channel now! It's weird tho that the views have gone down when you're steppin it up. More plans on the cummins btw? Like weight, suspension, angle?

Also quick question how much did you spend on parts ?

On compounds you can just use your stock hx35 as the main to feed the 64mm when it's time to eat then the 64 will take over an kick ass

I think you're there. I'm at 509hp 1287ft lbs. 191 DV's, 5x14's, Max travel kit, No fuel plate, diy AFC Live, 4k Gov, 18* timing, Diy hotrod lift pump 30mm bore, and a 60/67/12 that i rebuilt out of the original hx35

The reason the exhaust is always missing on the old 12 valve p pump Cummins trucks isn't because people straight pipe them it's because they are total rust buckets and the factory exhaust usually would rust to the point of falling off within 10 years of being manufactured LOL

I just order all these parts I can’t wait for them to come I’ve been saving for the past 2 years I’m 14 and my 12 valve is going to be my first truck when I turn 16

Makes about 60psi in 5th gear

* it doesn't get cold in Vancouver could be a correct statement. It gets very cold in over half of British Columbia.

Get an airdog and beans sump for this setup

ha remember when that guy said a single like a hx52 woudl be waaay better than your he351???... LOL also dont weld your 5th gear nut. i did just a "tack".. and i snapped my out put.

you could lower the turbo lag by putting a quick spool valve between the manifold and the turbo. Dieselpumpuk had amazing result with it

0 celcius is nothing here in norway it is over 10 minus celcius some parts are much more to times depends on weather bur right now it is 1+ celcius it has been over 13 minus celcius under a week ago
