In Luke 9:23, Jesus looks at his disciples and tells them, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it."
In Roman times, the cross was seen as a terrifying object of torture, suffering, and execution. If you were carrying a cross, you were on your way to be crucified. When Jesus makes this statement, the disciples must’ve been terrified.
So what does it mean to carry your cross?

I have looked at so many opinions of what Jesus meant about taking up your cross daily. I looked this up on google and man let me tell you. There is so many opinions about this subject. This one was not the first. Yet, in my opinion, it very well should be. I wanna say thank you to who ever made this video. Truly remarkable...!

I love this movie I just watched it today a very sad movie
When we tead Scripture, we see that when Moses served God, God always gave him a wife- in Egypt and in the wilderness after he murdered. Abraham waited for a son, but whilehe waited, God gave him a wife. Even after, in desperation, Abraham had a son with a slave, God kept. His promise and gav him a son,long after anyone thought it possible. God always provides a spiuse if He puts it in one's heart to have one. He has put it in my heart since I was twelve. I'm almost 60. God does not intend for me to be alone.He intends for me to hav a husband. Anything else is simply not of God. Praise Jesus! Prayers.

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny HIMSELF, not THEMSELVES. English grammar: "disciple" is singular and HIMSELF is singular. The rule of number is match singular to singular and plural to plural.
Jesus already suffered and died for us why do we need to carry the cross he also said it is finish he also we will cast out devils I don’t understand this?
