What does an apartment complex for a population of 500,000 in China's Guizhou province look like?

There is an apartment complex in China, with 500,000 people living in it. It used to be the largest slum in China. Later, many apartments were built here through renovation. It is located in the city center and has convenient transportation. Due to the concentrated population, the price of goods is very low. Low, it looks depressing at first glance, so how do the people who live here feel? Let me take you to see it with the lens!

It's impressive, intimidating, ugly, and strangely beautiful all at once. As a side note, the Chinese need to start making giant monster movies. You guys have so many skyscrapers now, but you're missing a Godzilla equivalent to help you out with urban redecorating.

Really liking nature looks like and outdoor mall with no escalators. Wheel chairs forget about it. Public transportation? So where are the trees 🌳 🤔 for shade and air production at? Hills grass parks Forrest, lakes, rivers, creaks or even a farm. Tons of concrete idk about a future like this. Can't forget nature! That parks looked like a zoo scene, like you can't go in it and looking at scale how manyn people could actually fit. Houston has some bad planning and traffic management issues. Mass transit is a joke here.

You can’t even see the sky - it feels depressing, tight, weirdly claustrophobic and safocating… all while maintaining a sense of awe.. Os cidadãos da região precisam se conscientizar acerca disso. Nenhum país sério no mundo tem centenas de milhares de ONGs interferindo no seu progresso. From what I can tell there are basically two classes: pure commercial and a podium-typology-mixed-residential. The former is commercial all the way up; the podium typology is where a few levels of the bottom, the podium, purely serve commercial use, while levels above the podium serve purely commercial. But no building is purely residential down to the ground. From the looks of it, the transformation from commercial to residential once built (unless as a hotel) seems to be forbidden, however, commercial seems to be able to creep up beyond the podium into higher originally residential units.

Never heard of this town and I been all over the world. The sheer size and scale of these apartment complex suggest a high population density, yet the street traffic does not look congested. There must be an efficient subway system. Don't see any beggars and panhandlers so unemployment must be low. There seem to be convenient shopping at every corner. The electrical grid must be super reliable with no overhead power lines. The public transport trash collection, waste disposal, water supply, plumbing system, postal delivery, heating and cooling, wide streets and parks must have been designed in the original concept. In western cities of this size, wont be getting those apartment for $100K and food in the shopping mall would not be cheap. I suppose these apartments are for former migrant workers are they continue to move from rural to urban areas in the "common prosperity" drive.
