Beautiful! And let's be real NPR should have had you and Josh play the desk after Unamericana came out.
It's pure magic! His voice and guitar bring the song to life in a way that's both touching and powerful.

I prefer Carson’s work post Josh Lee Turner. His lyrics are stunningly beautiful and I suspect somewhat autobiographical. He has improved immensely as a guitarist. Perhaps it’s time to start a small band and go on tour. Bob Dylan and James Taylor can’t last forever. This is your destiny.

It's a thing they have on NPR, where they have an artist, anyone from a small indy artist to a big name like Taylor Swift, play a short set of songs in an intimate space. It used to be Bob Boilen's office at NPR, the artists standing literally behind his desk, but during the pandemic they moved it to people's homes.
