@@waddahabdo7273 Poland was a first victim of Second World War. Polish had to fight with Nazi German, so we've got lots of heroes in our history. There were many Jews before the war and during it they were in danger. Polish society thinks that we were brave and never gave up. Many people joined in Armia Krajowa to protest against evil by a lot of ways. THese people were bullied and even killed after the war by the new government. In Polish society the war had a huge impact. It showed how life can be difficult and how people can be cruel to others. At result, we hadn't forgotten about it, especially about UK's and France's "help" in September 1939. After the war people who lived on the Eastern Poland they had to move out because this area became one's of the USSR's Republic. That's not all, because it'd be so long. Polish history is too interesting to describe in a one comment.

:-D Co rejon, to nieco inna kuchnia. No i osobiste upodobania też mają znaczenie. Są zwolennicy dań tradycyjnych, ale są też ludzie, którym etyczne i zdrowotne aspekty odżywiania się nie są obojętne. Pozdrawiam serdecznie!

In Spain children eat 5 meals a day, until they become adults (~13 years old). Breakfast is usually a hot chocolate with sponge cacke or biscuits (usually sweet things and substituting the cocoa for a coffee in the case of the adults), a sandwich at 11 am, lunch at ~2 pm (soup like Rosól, a stew with legumes, veg and meat, with a side salad and a pudding, which could be a yogurt, a piece of fruit or similar), another sandwich at 6 and a piece of fruit (these sandwiches can be made of chicken breast, meat stew, omelette or similar so, quite rich) and dinner at 9 (typically fries with fish or meat and salad, and a dessert, fruit or yougurt). Adults eat 3 meals or 4, usually adults won't eat the evening sandwich, although, manual workers do eat the mid-morning sandwich appart from the other 3 meals. We eat a lot!! and very varied and balanced (usually). People tend to cook less and less nowadays and eat more unhealthy food because of modern life styles and being in a rush, eating out more and more often.

Luosifen(jakiś ryżowy makaron z zupą i warzywami).

Ja osobiście wolę jeść dużo owoców i warzyw. Moja rodzina pochodzi z Tajlandii, więc często przygotowujemy potrawy z wykorzystaniem tajskich składników i smaków. Oczywiście, podobnie jak w Polsce, nasza dieta zależy od naszej sytuacji finansowej, miejsca zamieszkania, kultury i tak dalej.

5:04 I was wondering if polish students have a Mensa (canteen) like in Germany. In my country we do not have it, and I was so happy as a student in Germany because it's easy and fast to get balanced food at a reasonable price.... well, some people complain about prices and quality, but outside the Mensa can be worse and more expensive

No. Students (i mean young adults studying at some kind of a university) eat cheap as possible, but not in any special student canteen. We have this kind of thing only in primary schools. Ofcourse in police schools, military schools and other ones where you sometimes are unable to get outside it's different. There are "bary mleczne" (singular - "bar mleczny")- "milk bars" that are available for everyone, serve home-style food and are very cheap and that's because they get some government donations. You can buy a dinner maybe eavencheaper than cooking it yourself. It gets eaven cheaper if you pay for 15 or 30 dinners in advance. Different kinds of peope eat there - from homeess, trough students (ofcourse :) ) to rich buissnessmen who don't have time to cook themselves but want to eat something "home-ish".

Some Polish people tend to compare Poland with more successful western nations, such as Germany or UK, compared to which Poland seems like a poor and underdeveloped country, and they choose to accept it as a part of their reality. Ah, that’s so Polish when almost everybody says „Polish people eat unhealthy, fatty food, so much meat etc...” and when asked „What do you eat?” they answer „vegatables, fruits, grains...” 😅 I think that we eat very different food. In traditional Polish cuisine there isn’t only meat. We have a large variety of vegetarian od vegan tradition and pierogi are only a tip of an iceberg. So yeah, we don’t eat meat only 😛 (but when we do, we can cook it very very very deliciously 😁)
