I quit 5ish days ago, not really counting. I am still coughing up all the resin. I actually think the hub is far worse than weed though. I quit that last week too because it makes me bite my fingers, feel like a freak and stress all the time. I was getting hyperactive when having weed because if I ever stopped and thought about things I knew I was doing myself wrong. Since quitting I've been able to lay in bed sober and have positive thoughts (not always) it was really thought the first 3 nights, I didn't get any sleep and went schizophrenic, but after sleeping I returned back to normal

One week of no smoking complete. I relapsed for a little while so had to start the count again. Cravings aren't so bad but stress levels are manageable at the moment and I haven't had a bad day ... Yet Congratulations to everyone making the healthy choice for themselves. You are valid and amazing.
Frank, you are so underrated!! It just hit me that after trying so many methods and mindsets, your channel is what helped me quit vaping and weed, two years apart. You appeal to our reason and intelligence first, rather than trying to sell something. At the end of the day, it all comes down to "am I going to put this to my mouth and inhale?" and that's all addiction will ever be. You help people see that simple truth better than anyone else I've seen. Big thank you and God bless you!
I really struggle with adult content. I've discovered that it's a habit. I don't even feel "in the mood" while doing it. I simply do it because I'm bored. That's the sadest part. Quitting adult content is like trying to stop smoking while constantly having a pack of cigarettes in your pocket.

I've discovered that it's easier to move my body to clean my home when I try to quit. My body can't fullfill some tasks due to being unfocused. My body don't have sex with real women because my body prefer masturbating. My body loses weight when I don't watch it.
Thanks Doc Frank! When I was in rehab they gave us the "you are powerless against your addiction" schpeel and it really bugged me. Taking responsibility of your actions is infinitely more useful. My motto is "If you got yourself into it, you can get yourself out".
Hey Frank and others who read, I finally brought myself to watch a video. I’ve watched Frank for years and I managed to get sober a few times since then, but I’m not sober now. Deep in THC addiction after 2 months clean oh so long ago. I dislike watching these videos when I’m using because they hold me accountable and bring up valid points that lead to me, holding myself, stagnant. I have some weed but once it’s gone I’m done and facing the withdrawals head on. I’ve picked up a tobacco addiction and I’m no!stranger to adult content. I’m commenting because anyone who read will know it’s worth picking up the pieces again through the shame or whatever you feel. If you’re sober now and removed far enough from the pain that initially made you quit whatever substance, don’t take advantage of that. I promise it still hurts here, even a little more than before. If you’re not sober don’t kill your self more than your subconscious is already doing - but make that choice, so you can feel better.

It's certainly not any easy process, I know that myself. However, one thing I do know is that it's possible to overcome! I'm now 3,024 days sober from multiple addictions and I'm living a fulfilling life. Maybe try to focus on implementing healthier habits and routines too as that's was a big difference maker for me, along with journaling to find my triggers and healthier ways around them. Because of my own experiences and knowing how it's not always an easy journey for most, I'm launching a community/program on 4th July (tomorrow) for anyone struggling with addictions. So if you're ever having a bad day or would like to share your story, you're more than welcome to come along! You can overcome this!
Wanted to say thanks for all you do Frank. Yesterday marked 2 YEARS without weed, after smoking daily for over a decade. Watching your videos daily got me though the first month. MA meetings took me the rest of the way. I have never worked the steps, but just the in-person group setting has helped me address my addiction.
2 weeks sober, smoking since 14. Ive quit before for a bit but this time it feels different. The withdrawals are really bad, no sugar coating. A lot better now, but still dealing with mental health issues. Ive grown a hatred to what weed and nic did to me and others around me. Still not fully out of the withdrawal, but over the hurdle and happy for the future. Thank you for what you do, you help everyone get through this.

Thanks for helping others with your videos. W. I’ve been smoking weed for 10+ years as a 28 old male. It’s hard for me to quit. My dad smokes and we both smoke every day. It’s hard to stop even tho I know it’s bad. Discipline is king. Doing what you don’t want to do for what you need to do so that you can be the best version of yourself is what I need to do yet is still hard when I have zero dollars in account. I spend every dollar on food, bills, gas, then the rest for pot. Hard to ever get ahead so I keep smoking. My advice is to quit when you know to quit. You know it’s healthy to stop yet we don’t. My advice is research discipline and start doing it every single day and it’ll eventually get easier. I will break this habit and start the habit of healthy living soon!!!
I've recently quit smoking weed after 3 years and I can honesly day I'm grateful I didn't get the of the adverse effects of coming off of it!! Thank you for all your help and inspirational videos!!

@@nachopretzel3533 I 100 percent agree. My biggest issue is sleep. I suffered a traumatic brain injury when I was 12 so why I ever picked weed up in the first place is beyond me when I think about it now. But here I am. I will go days without sleeping when i don’t have something to smoke before bed. I understand now through doctor Frank’s videos that it’s all psychological and I’m likely not getting rem sleep anyways. Also probably haven’t for a while. I worked at a medical grow facility for trulieve in Pennsylvania for over a year, and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I was able to help the people who are able to consume weed responsibly or simply actually need it for medical reasons (not me! 🤣) and In the process of doing this I realized how much smoking it all the time was holding me back from my full potential. So one day I quit the job. I was fairly professional about it. But I could not take it anymore. Sorry for the rant but it helps to put this stuff in writing. Also, I am strongly considering dr Frank’s one on one session just gotta get my money up a little bit first 💪 but a one time session really could change my life because it’s clear I probably can’t do this on my own! More variety might make vaping more addicted then smoking or make people even more likely get a habit snd a addiction
Our minds summons power within ourselves and we are not capable to see it until we make a sacrifice. I been sober for over two weeks. No nicitone no alcohol and no thc. (Alcohol once a week binge) I’ve tried many times to quit and something always takes me back. I think the times it did it was because I wasn’t the feeling the best almost like I wasn’t functional but I don’t think I ever gave my body a true time to heal and we won’t know til we try. The mental fog and physical withdrawal are debilitating. But living life being yourself facing your problems then you running away is beautiful and I’m starting to see that slowly. 💯💪
thank you for doing what you do🖤🖤🖤
So true Dr. Frank, I HATE WEED!
The problem is... if you just did all three if these things rn. Like hit the nic vape and the weed vape then crack open say 1 of 6 beers. And kept going it changes us and it feels really good. My point being is it has real changes on our feelings. Instantly. Its neat

Quitting weed made me bored of the things that were generally unproductive anyway. I didn't enjoy using it much anymore, it just made me anxious, the joy of being high became short lived and required more and more over time to acheive the same effect. The vapes/pens available today are very strong and too convenient...easy to abuse. Quitting nicotine for me was a balance between making it a few weeks without relapse, breaking strict personal routines, and being in a nasty mood without justification other than "craving a smoke/hit off someone's vape". Being in nicotine withdrawal for a long time user can be an intense emotional experience, it sucks at first but quickly improves over time if you're dedicated. I'd quit marijuana five times before attempting to give up nictonine. Luckily with time and patience I managed both, seperately of course.

Kava and Kratom are amazing becuase of how they treat alcohol and benzodiazepine addiction. Kava and kratom both interact with the gabba receptors in your brain, just like alcohol and benzodiazepines. I was a BAD alcoholic for nearly 10 years until I discovered them both, and my withdrawls decreased 10 fold! Kava is groundbreaking because it actually builds your Gabba levels back up, instead of tearing them down. It even has a "reverse tolerance" effect and becomes more effective over time, instead of less like most substances and their tolerances. After a few weeks ween down from both and replace with healthier, more active activities. Next live free and happy, once again.
