It was at a critical time and I felt his voice was so desperately needed to keep the truth through comedy to be given to us. Jump ahead to now, I didn’t stop watching the Daily Show and it wasn’t very long before I adjusted and as time marched on, I became one of your greatest fans, from Dillon Montana. Mr. Trevor, thank you for the laughs and your stellar sense of humor. When folks take things out of context they are reacting and to bits or pieces of information and don’t fully understand what is going on. Too many of us are so incited by what we see and hear on social media. Most people have lost the art of communicating, in person because they are more comfortable on their cellphone or computer and say and do things that are hateful, disrespectful, and meant to cause harm and more distress in the world. They hide behind their anonymity because they think they will never be identified. Thank you for identifying who you truly are and giving us life lessons to help us laugh through the pain and anger that grips the hearts of those who hate. Peace and love and I hope to see you again 💞

But true comedy must be empathetic to the here & now. Trevor exemplifies comedy. He has the pulse on all aspects of life and understands humanity as a paradoxical being, that must always be approached from the inside, out. Rock on, Trevor Noah... I can see why he is leaving. Like you said he is a world treasure. He might not be as big as most american comedians. But the dude already does world tours in england, us, africa, germany. That is bigger then some comedians here a lone. He is very popular amongst the global scale. Ive known about Trevor before he got the daily show and I know why jon stewart picked him. He was a outside and his material is always about being critical about world culture not just local politics. Jon knew he would be great cause he would definitely give america a view from a outsiders perspective. Put a mirror in ourselves. John Oliver probably would of been the host if he didnt leave so early. I hope the daily show keeps the tradition of hiring foreign comedians.

@@anthonygordon9483 I like to think they let him go. I won't be surprised if his replacement only makes it 7 years as well. Two thirds of his speech is basically saying we don't have a blank blank. That we have leaders who do not care about the day to day struggles of the American people. You won't find a comment about the actually context of the show though cause I'm sure a bot is running through censoring them. I won't be surprised if this comment is deleted, despite my best efforts to hide my message.

You helped me a lot during my first arrival in USA, Since then every night I watched your shows and get what’s happening in the world in humorously way. All I wanted to say is , I love you Trevor, you’re an inspiration for all Immigrants and Africans. True wisdom, genuine humanity and brave insights. The key learnings you shared get lost daily -- on “both sides of the aisle” - as we consume the inputs that feed the news’ profit generation. Over the years, thank you for truly educating on tough issues with levity. We have been honored to have you help us understand and navigate struggling times. I am sad you’re leaving, while respecting it and you for moving to the next part of your life. So many mornings yours was one of the first videos I would seek out to navigate deep and twisty issues that required much context that was typically not provided. You provided the space for us to form our own thoughts on news elements. You truly have a gift in educating and humorizing and I’m ever thankful for Jon Stewart asking you to sit at that desk. Many blessings to you…

You'll be missed for sure. You speak to major issues with an open mind, combining class and humor, all while remaining authentic to yourself and your craft! Fair play, looking forward to what you're doing next 👍
