Jon Stewart is my buddy. He’s the greatest. When he decided to leave the Daily Show, I was extremely sad. My first thought was who in the world could possibly replace him. It was at a critical time and I felt his voice was so desperately needed to keep the truth through comedy to be given to us. Jump ahead to now, I didn’t stop watching the Daily Show and it wasn’t very long before I adjusted and as time marched on, I became one of your greatest fans, from Dillon Montana. Mr. Trevor, thank you for the laughs and your stellar sense of humor. When folks take things out of context they are reacting and to bits or pieces of information and don’t fully understand what is going on. Too many of us are so incited by what we see and hear on social media. Most people have lost the art of communicating, in person because they are more comfortable on their cellphone or computer and say and do things that are hateful, disrespectful, and meant to cause harm and more distress in the world. They hide behind their anonymity because they think they will never be identified. Thank you for identifying who you truly are and giving us life lessons to help us laugh through the pain and anger that grips the hearts of those who hate. Peace and love and I hope to see you again 💞

He was a outside and his material is always about being critical about world culture not just local politics. But boy he proved to everyone that they made an outstanding choice, there's no one else quite like him in American television that's for sure
Trevor is the embodiment of wisdom, humor, respect and intelligence, not necessarily in that order. And this, the last, video of him on The Daily Show, shares some very important life lessons. Thank you, Trevor, for all those years!
I will never forget when Trevor took over for Jon. I looooved Jon Stewart. I instantly liked Trevor but I felt he could never do the justice Jon could. Man was I wrong. I didn't watch the show often but I made sure to tune in to say farewell, he's such an intelligent, witty, smart and funny young man. I especially applaud him for giving thanks to the strong Black Women in his life, it made me proud cause he understood how much more difficult it is for us in this world, I wish him a blessed and wonderful journey, he's truly a special gem to treasure.
I didn’t watch you every night, Trevor, but did most nights; and when I missed your show, it was still a comfort knowing you were there, holding down the fort, keeping it sane. Now, I don’t know how I’ll get through this crazy passage of humanity as we lurch into the unpredictable unknown without you keeping it sane. What a vast, empty space you are leaving, just the way your predecessor did. There’s no replacing either of you … long live you and your predecessor. 💐💐

"Not everything is bad." A beautiful and funny goodbye message.
Wow. What an extraordinary man. I will deeply miss his presence and ability to make me feel just a little bit better about the world we live. Thank you Trevor.
I'm crying... So much love and respect for Trevor! ♥️ Hopefully I'll get to see him in Europe some day!
"Context matters. Context is everything." is the most valuable lesson I have learned from you, Trevor. Sending my sincere gratitude to you.
I'm going to truly miss Trevor on the Daily Show. I discovered Trevor in 2013 after I got hit by a car as a pedestrian. My world was destroyed and I was extremely depressed and alone. At the time Trevor had a special on Netflix and it was the only thing that brought a smile to my face for two months. When he got hired for the Daily Show, I cried tears of joy. Now he's leaving and I'm emotional because of what he means to me. I'll continue to follow your career and wish you the best.
Trevor you have impacted everyone including me. I remember watching some of you stand up comedy, you have a way to make people laugh. Because you speak the truth about what we see social media or watching the news and you make it better for us to understand and see things opposite directions. Thank you for that I really appreciate that, siyabonga kakhulu 🙏🏾🇸🇿.
This was beautiful. And the tribute to Black women is so honorable. I just was at mayor Karen Bass inauguration and I felt this same exact way. Salute Trevor we love you💯🙌🏾💜👑💜
Your entire journey hosting the show and ironically in the delivery of your final messaging was the epitome of optimism and hope and reminder to always find the context in our relationships, encounters, and decisions. So beautiful. I wish you all the best, Trevor Noah!
Trevor, this a goodbye we'll never forget, and 1,000,000's of us around the world are eternally grateful for you!!!
From this chicana in california to the coolest wisest funniest south african in New York I'm gonna miss you so much Trevor! John riled up my passion for change you helped me grow that passion and those ideals into my adulthood. I am so happy for your next journey and I look forward to seeing you around ✊🏾
I was both teary-eyed and laughing as I watched this. This is the most beautiful wrap-up of a host's time on a show I've ever watched.

And his generosity of heart 💕💕💕unparalleled! 😢❤Here’s to your next chapter sir… may it be as splendid ad the last 7 years

If you want _new_ late night humor, Seth Meyers still makes content.
I was aware that he was leaving, but that hit like I wasn't aware, Trevor you helped me get through some dark times in this journey we call life, you made me laugh when I was afraid, you made me laugh when all I wanted to do was be angry, more importantly, you made me realize I do not have to be so upset or uncomfortable about things I have no control over.. Be Blessed with the best that life has to offer you Trevor.. Thank you for the last 7 years of laughter and enlightenment ❤️👏👏👏👏👏
Commenting in lieu of only being able to put one like down for Trevor. You Trevor deserve more than likes. You've been such a great source of information, inspiration, and joy. You've got the ability to make people listen and give a laugh under any circumstance. You are invaluable. Thank you for all your time and kindness
Wisdom, talent and humility... Trevor is going to be greatly missed.
I'm truly going to miss his intelligence, his humor, his overall soul. Hoping his life continues to be blessed as he blessed others
As African originated as Trevor, He is one person i always look up to, Him Being from South Africa🇿🇦 and i, from East Africa(Tanzanian🇹🇿) trying to make it in NYC🇺🇸, just make me believe that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF U WORK HARD, AND IT DOESNT MATTER WHERE YOU COME FROM!
So much intelligence and class in one funny man package!! I've learned so much from listening to @Trevor and his guests. I've read books I never would have heard of if not for him, and just like he says... I have a different world view because I've talked to and LISTENED to black women!! He is all that he is because of his mother and grandmother. It's no wonder that he is an awesome human. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors @TrevorNoah. You have earned it all.
I sincerely hope Trevor inspires for others the same passion for lifelong learning, for courage to ask questions, for brilliant humor, kindness, respect, discovery and generosity of sharing and intelligent discourse that he has demonstrated. Trevor is a true gem of a human being!
Trevor, you were my daily news for 7 years man! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Your authenticity will be missed.
He was trying so hard to hold back tears towards the end. 💔🕊️🙏🏻❤️
We need more people like Trevor ❤️
What a blessing it’s been to watch him blossom in this role. I really believe he was the perfect person to fill Jon’s shoes and what he’s done with the show has been hilarious and lovely.

Thank you John Stewart - I didn't think I could survive your departure from The Daily Show but truly, thank you for bringing us Trevor!!! Thanks for all the wonderful healing laughs!!!! ♥️
The Daily Show will never be the same without you, Trevor. Thank you, Trevor, for bringing your intelligence, your brilliance, your candor, your sensitivity and of course the humor to the American political landscape. "Without context, nothing makes sense.." Can't wait to see you on the road with your comedy tours....
Trevor is truly special. We will miss you on the daily show🙏
As a Black Woman...It is an Honor Trevor 🙏You are a true reflection of the Black Women who have bestowed their grace, knowledge, nature, nurture and love upon you. We couldn't as for any better! WE THANK YOU...🙌👏🙏
I cried for the first time watching a late night comedy show...best wishes Trevor, love you!
Your memoir is amazing and our students love it and you! You’ll be sorely missed. I’ll share this and what you learned with them.
"We are all human beings. We are all trying to get somewhere" ❤
We discovered him early on and didn’t miss a night during quarantining at home! Love his humor, honesty and appreciation to those who have been with him all this time.
Trevor - your charisma, honesty, intelligence, respectful demeanor and thoughtfulness throughout the length of your time has been a pride to witness as a black person and as an African. Thank you and farewell brother 🙏
Trevor is one of the best humans to ever be on TV. America needs more humans like him in the media
honesty, humility, gratitude, and comedy, no less. Trevor, thank you for your profound contributions to our lives and comical attempts to share your perspective. You are loved and appreciated.
I time-traveled back to this moment to see this historic moment. You’ll all be pleased to know that Trevor goes on to a successful three-year comedy tour, followed by a stint as a neurosurgeon, a part-owner of a taco food-truck chain all over the country, an ambassador to Denmark, Secretary of State for the 48th President of the US, and, most importantly, a husband and father of three girls and a boy (named Trevor Jr., or TJ for short).

"Think about an issue as a human being". "Context is everything." Wonderful quotes from this clip. Hope that your future successes lead to great things and positive influences to many people. Be blessed.
This guy's insight never ceases to amaze me
Like the brother I never had. Thank you for opening my eyes and helping me through the past several years.
That context message was the one that I learned from watching your show. This was one of the few shows that never became a dumping ground for either side. Trevor always treated his guests with dignity. It was always apparent that he came into the interview having done his homework and kept his bias to himself. And the others in the cast were each special and brought that something special to this show. I wish you the best.
Trevor’s lessons will always be a part of the the daily show and I would always remember them anytime I watch the show. All the best Trevor! Keep making us proud. We love you - From your fan base in Ghana 🔥

True wisdom, genuine humanity and brave insights. The key learnings you shared get lost daily -- on “both sides of the aisle” - as we consume the inputs that feed the news’ profit generation. Over the years, thank you for truly educating on tough issues with levity. We have been honored to have you help us understand and navigate struggling times. I am sad you’re leaving, while respecting it and you for moving to the next part of your life. So many mornings yours was one of the first videos I would seek out to navigate deep and twisty issues that required much context that was typically not provided. You provided the space for us to form our own thoughts on news elements. You truly have a gift in educating and humorizing and I’m ever thankful for Jon Stewart asking you to sit at that desk. Many blessings to you…
You'll be missed for sure. You speak to major issues with an open mind, combining class and humor, all while remaining authentic to yourself and your craft! Fair play, looking forward to what you're doing next 👍
Phew he got me at the end 😢 Black Women! I love us 🙌🏾♥️ Thank you Trevor for being such a light, excited for your next journey in life 🎉
