I would much rather prefer a heel Christian vs a hybrid Punk. Bit like Christian v Orton in 2011 when Orton was neither a heel or a face. Austin loved that feud so much he has a poster of their last smackdown cage match on his wall.

Ricky Starks is really coming into his own right now. That win was needed to get back on track.

If he can be booked as more of a tweener, only cheating if he really has to and 'mild cheating' now and then they really could have something. I know they brought back Punk for financial reasons, but at some point you have to put everything together that people have said about him. Ya collision is such a breath of fresh air and really puts pro wrestling front and center. So sick of garbage wrestling shows considering what occurred last Wednesday.

Punk really wanted to work with ricky and give him that boost in career, Shame now Ricky is sidelined

Collision feels like the AEW I fell in love with.. with just a few more tweaks, it could be the best wrestling show on TV. It definitely got me back into AEW!

Thinking the same thing. MJF and Adam Cole remind me of HHH/Sean Michaels, Ricky reminds me of the Rock. Of course not of the attitude era caliber, but you get the vibe.

So many moving parts to this segment & all were great. Collision is giving me a lot more entertainment than most shows have the last couple of years (& I had pretty much given up on wrestling at the start of the pandemic & AEW brought me back)

This was honestly one of the best best segments for wrestling this year. Pure Gold!

Starks is now 2-0 against Punk, and I love it. I'm a Punk guy, and it shows he's trying to elevate young talent. Ricky is also a MUCH better heel. That "pillars" diss line was fire, as was his ripping off the scab of how Punk was never beat but lost the AEW championship. As always, Punk delivered a cerebral promo that perfectly sets up their feud while laying the road for the eventual PUNK vs. MJF 2.

Any one else happy that pyro is still used in this business such a great addition to the show

CM Punk chants came at the end of the promo and carried on through the main event. There were anti-Punk people here, but it felt more like the crowd was having fun than any malice. All CM Punk would have had to do to get that Owen Cup is ask Tony and he definitely put Starks over proper. I can't imagine Ricky Starks not being a number one heel in the company after today's brilliant mic work and heel work in the ring.

It's refreshing to see some variation to AEW already with the starting of the Collison Programming. TK does get a lot of heat for bad bookings & stuff from myself included, but thanks to Tony, we have some alternative wrestling in the mainstream television genre that Jim Cornette loses his mind over on a weekly basis. I love it.

It's because Tony has also got people from ROH involved. Love him or hate him, cm punk. And he's listening to there ideas. They know how to put on a good show

Dynamite can be very entertaining but is a rather chaotic show and sometimes its segments are hit or miss. But Collision so far has been a very solid show, I really like its style.

In my personal opinion, Collison should be the flagship for AEW. Collectively, I enjoy Collison so much more then Dynamite and Rampage combined. This is closer to what I hoped for as an alternative wrestling show/company. Everything is better about this show. Even though the viewership can be lower than Dynamite but the numbers stay solid and more consistent all the way to the end. I've yet to be disappointed and look forward to it every week. More than I do Dynamite. 😅

It should be on Mondays, not beating raw but definitely gets more eyes on it and there's an alternative to change the channel to during the raw lulls.

​@mrnicemam8523 That was just done to add legitimacy as it has been established in kayfabe that Tony is the one controlling the matches. Obviously he is IRL, but kayfabe is its own thing.
