Would someone pray for my mother and I, especially my mother, she doesn't have faith in Christ and is usually angry when I try to share the truth with her. It feels like walking on eggshells around her because anything I say is used against me and she brings up my past sins and won't forgive me. I try to honor my mother and father but she hates my father and currently wont talk to me because I said I loved him. Please pray for her, her name is Roxanne. Thank you.

I will pray for both of you. I’m so sorry you’re going through that. I have been praying for my friend Amber for the last 30 years for her salvation but I’m going to continue to pray for her.

I’ve prayed for you and your family, don’t worry sometimes it will be hard to trust God in these situations. But if you continue to cry out to Him any time, and lean on what He said and promised over you and you’re family in the Word of life. He shall renew your strength and mount you up with wings as eagles, and deliver you and make you light weighted from any bondage. You’re family shall be free by you’re faith in Christ but most importantly His unfailing love for you in Jesus name amen🙏🏽🤍

God is the living waters, and His Law is the fountain of life... Jeremiah 17:13 13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because **they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.** Proverbs 13:14 **The law of the wise is a fountain of life**, to depart from the snares of death.

It certainly isn't water Baptism that Catholics claim is "necessary for salvation."(Catechism 980) Water Baptism "delivers no one." You cannot be "reborn" by it.(980) Catechism 978: "Yet the grace of Baptism delivers no one from all the weakness of nature" - i.e. sin.(978) Believe in, trust in, receive Jesus, and you will become a child of God - "born...of God."(John 1:11-13) "[Jesus] said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now" - Acts 1:4-5

When Nicodemus was confused by Jesus saying we must be born again to see the kingdom of God... "Jesus answered, 'Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God'" (John 3:5).

Here is the actual quote from the Catechism 980: It is through the sacrament of Penance that the baptized can be reconciled with God and with the Church: Penance has rightly been called by the holy Fathers "a laborious kind of baptism." This sacrament of Penance is necessary for salvation for those who have fallen after Baptism, just as Baptism is necessary for salvation for those who have not yet been reborn.

@bryanjones8778 Jesus was not speaking of physical water. He was pointing to the Spirit. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”(John 3:6-8) "...born of the Spirit" To reveal Jesus to Israel, John the Baptist came baptizing with water. "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water."(John 1:31) Heavenly things --->> "Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”(vs.33-34) Again, the water that Jesus spoke about in John 3 is not physical water. It's the same water in John 4: "Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water....Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this [well] water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."(vs. 10;13-14) John 7:37-39: "Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water... ...But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."

You didn’t really show how it was the Spirit in scripture though
