I tend to reserve judgement until I see the entire series. However, I have two questions. 1. If not trying to tell how the Sith emerged prior to episodes 1-3, what is the purpose of this show? 2. Is this the best cast, story, and setting to tell this story?

From what I saw, the sabers are so big because they use LED now instead of making the glow in post. Now the battery pack is part of the hilt, so it's huge. Asohka had her battery pack in her sleeves. So now we are getting these huge sabers now

I don't think Palpatine needed one. Masters are being killed off by a 5 foot practically unarmed little girls who says....................come at me bro..Pretty a naval trooper could sort that out. And the clone war Era Jedi...............Clone wars era Anakin would have ripped her to pieces with his hands.

So far, my only problem is that I don’t see where their budget went?!? I was expecting something visually impressive. My 6 year old watched 15 minutes and turned it off saying “Dad, this doesn’t feel like Star Wars”. I’m still willing to see it through. I’m staying positive.

Personally, I think a lot of my issues would have been solved if the show started with seeing the jedi posted at the town, meeting the two main character sisters, we watched the town burn and the jedi attempt to save them, then we believe the sister died. Then it jumps to where these episodes started. We would actually care for the characters, right now it feels like anyone could die and I wouldnt care.

This is now a Star Wars Story, This is Leslies story

The visuals look great but there's no real back stories you can't just introduce new characters and expect us to instantly be invested or care about them, bad story writing! The 1st half of the original StarWars movie was building up Lukes story, if you miss that out we can't get behind them!

It was boring I wanted it to be good but I just found myself on my phone thoughtout the whole thing I hope it improves bur I did like Sol

I thought it was ok, I didn’t mind it and will keep watching as I enjoyed it. I would like to see the Jedi Council and Yoda at some stage to see that interaction. I’m Gen X btw so loved the originals, prequels, and Clone Wars.

i was there in 1977 ,the story was the best part of the movie. Then you add the acting and the soundtrack ,thats what got me. this is NOT star wars , i will always watch the first 6 and thats it .

I think it was so far surprisingly really good. I thought that the show will end up like the sequels, but for now it is nothing but good. For now I feel it gives old Star Wars vibes and I love that. Of course some things could have done better, but it is always like that. I didn’t like the twin drama but other than that it is really cool. I hope it won’t threat the prequels though.

It's mediocre and by the sounds of it after episode 3 it might be the worst disney sw content ever.

I liked it. The ending of both episodes had me wanting more. Didn't care for twins character portrayal but we'll see what character development brings

I think you are right. I think it was so far surprisingly really cool. Of course they could have change certain things. I just didn’t like this twin drama but it was ok. I think what we watched was good. It is giving Old star wars vibes. Because of that let’s be positive. I get people when they don’t like it but for now we just watched 2 episodes.

It’s not bad at all, it’s just not great either despite what people say. I think we were all surprised at the direction they took, since it was setting up to be a murder mystery, but I think it’s clear now that the real mystery is what truly happened on Mae and Osha’s home world. Because Mae wants to get revenge against those 4 Jedi for something, even tho she is the one blamed for starting a fire and killing everyone. But I feel those 4 Jedi did something really really bad because they all carry a guilt with them. Especially when Master Indara said “Jedi do not attack the unarmed,” and Mae responded with a very personal “Yes you do.” So I find it very interesting to see that this series is going to show us a side of the Jedi we haven’t seen yet or we haven’t seen much where they would go as far to do something and cover it up from everyone, including the Jedi council. I’m also kinda interested to see who the masked Sith is going to be, although I’d rather they choose someone completely new instead of a legends character like Plagues cause then everyone will be blaming Disney for no reason, but honestly I don’t really care, they’re just haters.

I watched the first episode and it was boring and wont watch anymore until all episodes are out and ive seen reliable reviews of it. If it was written by Dave Filloni i know i wouldve enjoyed it as i enjoyed Ahsoka

If you're talking about the six movies created by George Lucas, and the associated books, comic books, and video games, then yes, I will enjoy STAR WARS. This isn't STAR WARS. This is a knucklehead pulling a SHE-HULK 2.0 at the expense of the fandom. Too bad, most of the fandom checked out long before her shitshow was announced and released.
