well, let's see what happens. One thing I found weird was the lack of Star Wars music or star wars like music in the trailer. It just felt like a generic sci-fi trailer with Star Wars visuals idk. As for the story so far, It has some potential, getting a real late clone wars Barriss Offee feel from this.

Interesting how some directors of an IP want to take it in their “own direction.” The fact that you are working in an IP means the direction has been given to you. If you want to be super creative, then write your own story or do something that hasn’t been done. Star Wars doesn’t owe you anything. The story, direction, flow, and rules have been set. You were hired to work within that and make “THAT” awesome.

Andor breaks out of all of the traditional star wars story, direction, flow and rules, and is some of the best SW we've gotten in years

Why is Disney’s only design for a sith-like villain always some bland guy in a bland black attire with a completely bland helmet? I get the sith want to hide their identity but how about something that isn’t just a copy of the second sister’s design?

Even sith like Maul, Talon, Palpatine, Vader, Reven, Malgus, Nihilus and even non-sith like Ventress all had unique attire and looks even if they wore black or dark clothes. They weren’t all the same. They each had a uniqueness to them that you could distinguish from one another. This sith just looks like a generic sith nobody. Plus it’s the same full face helmet we’ve seen before in Ahsoka, Rebels and Jedi Fallen Order.

@@oXRaptorzXo In the prequels, there was always a beam of white light creating the core of the lightsaber, and the color ran around it. With these Disney lightsabers, that white core isn’t entirely present. This is especially true when the lightsaber is swung. If you’ve ever seen those lightsabers you can buy, (neopixels, RGB, Force FX, etc.) this is what happens when you swing those around, seeing as they’re not actual lightsabers. Disney, while filming, use these “toy” lightsabers as their props, but then add in the lightsaber effect later. However, you can still see at times that it’s just one of those “toy” lightsabers, as the white core isn’t always there.

Theory you need to stop getting hung up on that one line from Ki Adi Mundi - it’s VERY possible that Yoda kept it all under wraps - check how he looks at Mace when Ki said the line - Yoda be cagey! It’s gonna be good. As a long time fan I’m excited. You are getting caught up in Leslie hate bro. I get it but don’t let it ruin your enjoyment 🤟🏼

She really said that? What was she thinking, with that statement? Hell, most of The High Republic books, comics, and the Animated series (Young Jedi Adventures) definitely (minus the Wokeness, of course) come across as part of George Lucas' universe. Otherwise, I wouldn't enjoy the majority of them. This series is either gonna work, or, it's going to be a rather substantial misfire.

Well actually in legends Yoda did know about the Sith return, but he put it down as a dark Jedi and they were around under the rule of to and not being around for 1000 years is more about the Sith empire in the legends Yoda encountered the Sith This was about 300 to 200 years before the Phantom Menace back in the legends when the apprentice turned to the dark side under the guise of the Seth master when master Yoda defeated them, he assumed that was the end of it, so we had no concerns of the Sith returning which is what the Alkali was supposed to be about but when Hedland got on top of the project, she changed it because she didn’t want to follow George Lucas’s vision The rule of two was created so that the Sith could survive in secret, so the Sith were always around they were just in hiding. The goal was that as a master trained a student, when the student became powerful enough, student would kill the master and train the next one that the legacy of the Sith would continue until one day as it would come, that one would be powerful. Enough To carry out the legacy of the Sith, and destroy the Jedi order and resurrect the Sith empire

I think this looks pretty cool and it has me excited.. the extended scene after the phantom menace screening only reinforced my feeling.. I like Star Wars so I like to be optimistic. For a while I was checked out .. ahsoka brought that feeling of wanting Star Wars back for me … also I don’t care if me being excited for it irritates anyone lol

Maaaaaan. It's crazy. Disney started off SO strong with Mandalorian Season 1... Season 2 had its moments for sure but it definitely fell short of what it could have been. Worse than that tho were the other projects that started coming afterwards. It's just been downhill ever since. Genuine question. Which of the new series, if any, are worth watching? Some say Ahsoka is. I have not seen it yet.

The major plot hole Disney will have, regarding the line about the Sith in Phantom Menace, is that Yoda is alive and a Jedi council member during this time period... so yeah, there's no way they see this Sith and live. Well, maybe there is a way... Attack of The Clones. "Only a jedi can remove records from the archives" and "if it is not in our records, it doesn't exist". Maybe they do survive and the confrontation isn't recorded, or is deleted, and for some reason Yoda kept his mouth shut in Phantom Menace. At the very least, we alreqdy know that for some reason a record of the confrontation isn't maintained in the archives, which would explain why Ki Adi Mundi and other council members believed the Sith were extinct for over a millenia.
