To be fair..... Tricky Dick Nixon wasnt lying. The dollar IS worth just as much then as it is today. It has always been just as worthless, because its just paper!!

India brought 8% of world silver in Febuary if they buy that each month that be 96% of all the silver in the world at end of December for one country so silver price will go up some say $300 in 6 years time other say it go up $50-$70,000 a ounce.

I live in china. A year ago I researched where to buy gold and found out i could buy it at my bank - which surprised me at the time. This month i went back into the bank and gold bars were displayed in a cabinet and there was a big sign with the gold price on it. People here are buying

I was buying silver at the October low of 8.50 in October of 2008. Got some buffalos for 12 bucks off of Apmex and Perth Lunars for 14 bucks. So a 50% premium and an 85% premium. That was at the very low.

This properly places blame on the typists, and the solution with sound, honest, money. I get tired of people blaming suddenly greedy sellers when buyers provide the greed/demand. I like seeing I made the right choice, but on the other hand seeing the price go up is a sign that the fears I have about my country's economy and financial system are not in good shape, and my government with the help media is straight lying to its citizens, and harming everyone with these lies.

It seems like when people get tired of waiting for a precious metals breakout is when it then surprise comes.

Libertarians are born (big-picture, rational, abstract, principled, INTJ, etc.), and many more politically converted by government from liberals and conservatives (who remain who they are but realize politics and prosperity don’t work) when it betrays them. It is important to recognize that politics is for centralized mandates, democracy makes winners and losers based on majority control plus other influences, and that freedom and sound money, together, is how we raised all boats and made it possible to stop burning forests to stay warm. We need liberals and conservatives and people who learn by experience, but we also need a minority of big-picture thinkers. Those are genetic. Trying to use politics to suit each one is a contest that only creates losers. Freedom in the hands of peaceful consumers is the closest to the best foundation on which to negotiate the lives we each want to live. (And that’s what political libertarians understand, regardless of personality or party.)

We are currently in a depression. Have been for over a year. The recession was in 2022. If you cant see that by now, you are blind.

This time won’t seem like previous times: we are watching the collapse of fiat/paper/digital “assets,” worldwide, all at once. This removes lots of safety valves. Only by measuring against each other, energy, food, and shelter, and other real and relatively demand-stable real assets can one try to understand it. Our historical data comes from Europe and the Middle East, and the trading hubs, where if the money was t working in your country, you would know it by the neighboring country. The US geographic isolation, the manipulation by fiat and paper/digital, and hubris, have combined to rob consumers of the data they need to adjust values properly. It’s happening slowly, but inevitably. Expect surprises. This has never happened before on this scale. Silver was already the outlier based on history, so it is telling us that this time is different. It measures value better than dollars, but most were not using it and bought and sold below its value. That was a shiny beacon telling us the market was log-jammed unnaturally. We understand economic and mining cycles pretty well, but this fiat/monetary cycle is globally connected and top-heavier. Exeter’s pyramid has reached its limit on stability. This one is big.

$50.00 in 1980 has suffered inflation and is worth only $16.90 today. Or to keep up with inflation, the $50 silver price is nonsense ,and ATH should be $50.00 * 295% = $147.50

All these fundamentals for silver don't matter as long as JPMorgan is pushing the price artificially down.

@@djkramerd4582 Not lower grade, but more expensive to mine per ounce than gold, thus not as easily in reach of profit margins unless it is mined in conjunction with other metals--many of which go through their own cycles.

It would be more interesting if both of them were not interrupting each other so often.

When I look at the price charts, I see $4000 by end of summer this year 2024.

Rent now, pay later is now a thing, too.

I wouldn't waste my time listening to Darth Silver analysis. His sentiments on silver depends on the channel he is on. Contrary to his opinions on G to S ratio, I expect big time narrowing in the very near future.

I think Ag is overperforming Au because it's been suppressed SO HARD for years now.

I have been in since 2014 and I have doubled my money if I were to sell today (NOT A CHANCE!!).

I initially started investing in precious metals in 2014 as of today I am up 80% on my original investment. I am listening to American commentators with regards to the current rise in the prices and believing that it is their economy, the Fed rates or whatever that has an effect on the prices. What America has is 34 trillion in debt and the illusion of a bunch of paper gold traded on the Comex which is worth nothing but the paper. Today, Friday the paper gold pushed the price down from a high of $2431.90 to closing at $2343.90. I would like to put forward a hypothesis that the west (USA+Europe etc) no longer controls the precious metals markets and that control is in the hands or Russia, China and the BRICS. Who now have the most gold. I would like to suggest is that what we are seeing is a financial (currency) war taking place between the west and the east. The end result will be the collapse of the American dollar. We live in interesting times and I do not think it bodes well for America. Watch the price on Monday.

A perfect storm is a bad thing.

In order to try and put silver into perspective , one can't rely on historical values. Prices from the nineteen eighties are not relative. They have no bearing on the current financial landscape We have never been at this place before... Commodities such as silver and gold are, in truth, not comparable. Silver is not simply a store of wealth....it is also an industrial metal. It is a conspicuous fact that India purchased a record 70.7 million ounces of silver in February alone. Politics put us in the position we are currently in. The lack of /or disacknowledgent of economic fundamentals is what has jeopardized the US. Short term thinking, corporate greed, lack of internal productivity, blind faith in an overpriced stock mareket , unwavering faith in being the reserve currency has put this economy on quicksand. Even in this exploration, I do not see the realization of these financial misfauxs....which have + will reap their consequences.

It appears Gold is telling us that currencies, all of them , are extremely weak compared to Gold. All it would take to reverse that is Powell raising rates by 1 point. The ten yr yield closing in on 6% would devastate all mkts and the Metals. He should do it , but we all know he wont...... or will he?

The perfect storm is when the people are mad educate by all you people watching, and you explain to them it's not a get rich quick scheme but that it's a sound money system that forces big institutions to be honest when you demand physical delivery on your money and savings. The increase in purchasing power will be a boon for those who invest early but there is no perfect storm until the people become educated and realise they want a sound money system.

[ I posted a correction but it isn't showing up]..I admitted my mistake. The correlation is between The Fed Funds Rate being at or near 0, the DJIA having expansion and the BTC price reaching new highs. This is when Gold historically gets crushed.

I've looked back through all the charts of the DJIA , the Russell 2000 and BTC with an overlay of XAU. I found zero correlation with your suggestion that gold is crushed when the rest to the moon. I wish I could put up some screen shots here to show you are speaking utter tripe.

I had to go back and look at charts and listen to Blockchain Backer on Substack from Feb 15th of this year. Again, my apologies.

A new scheme in India promises solar panels on 10 million rooftops that will generate free electricity up to 300 units per month for consumers. That's 170 million panels at half an ounce per panel. The Indians know they need a lot of silver and to delay purchase means paying a lot more.India also knows that Modi wants to crush power creation by fossil fuels so if this 10 million rooftops goes we'll they will greatly solarize all of India.. There goes your silver supply etc.../this policy is officially approved and going to drain the world silver supply as it gets larger.
