Agree. Wish she had put something in the 2024 basket because while it doesn't go far, truth is you CAN buy something, peanut butter, eggs, flour, oil, tuna, bananas, oatmeal, grits, carrots, etc. A combination of some of these items is still possible to purchase. Making statements that you cannot buy anything takes away from her credibility.

According to the US debt clock web site the ratio of paper gold to real gold is 124:1 and silver is 397:1 which means silver is almost 4x more manipulated than gold. Presently the gold to silver price ratio is over 80:1. The historic average has been around 15:1. Silver is undervalued to gold by over 5 times and price manipulated by paper near 4 times. This tells me silver will out perform gold in gain by many times over gold. Gold is money but silver is even more useful in industry along with it's use as money. Gold is largely recycled after use, but silver is thrown away into landfills. Silver is in all electronics. Because of these reasons stated, does it make sense to hold silver over gold?

Lynette in 2000 I bought an entire grocery buggy full of food using coupons, sales, and other means for $20. It was enough food to last a week for my entire family. Pasta was 10 cents. Cans of sauce were 59 cents with a coupon for 30 cents off and they tripled coupons. Last week I went with $20. It's the first time I had money for food in a while. I used every sale and trick I knew. I got hot dogs, a pound of chicken, a loaf of bread, and peppers. I also got 8 ounces of shredded cheese and half and half. That is it. That's with coupons for FREE items too! I was looking at the small grocery sack of food trying to figure out how I would feed my kids for the week. At this point, buying food only supplements what we eat. If I bought all my food I and my children would be on rations of one meal a day or less. I have chickens which give us breakfast most days. I have a few veggies in the ground. I am working on getting more in quickly. Between this and our stores, we are slowly bleeding food as we eat through our stores to help with what we can not make or afford anymore.

Mostly Pre - 1933 gold. when I go to the local flea market in ohio in a few weeks. if i can't find any * CHEAP * gold there. then I'll get some silver. I'm just glad I started my stacking journey early. ( with the help of layaway from my coin dealer) in 2011. when the price of gold was below $2,000 dollars and affordable.

if bred is 800, I'll be a farmer. It would be amazing if a few cups of flower refined to bread costs 800 dollars. There would be so many farmers it'd be hilarious. You are assuming that the fed would allow us to lose our position as having debts to other countries. They will let businesses collapse before allowing there be incentive to drop the USD. If the fed increases rates more, that will harm the global markets as the comparative USD will farther strengthen. This incremental stuff just adds inflationary pressures rather than relieving them the asset class is majorly benefiting from this. Because pretty much inflation is exclusively helping the US asset holders.

Is Australia experiencing hyper inflation? The steak price in restaurants is between A$220-A$250 per plate. All the supermarket prices are too high in comparison to Europe, UK etc.. for instance 1kg of cheddar cheese is A$40 in Australia vs £7 in UK. If Australia is experiencing hyper inflation, does that mean that the Australian dollar will soon crash or reevaluate.or is it a strong currency backed by resources unlike the US?
