Ja sám pocházím ze severu Moravy, a u nás bul tramping vždy spíš tulácký, taková "hardcore turistika s filosofií woodcraftu, prvky trampské kultury a vlivy skautingu a Foglara".

Ostatně i ten mastňácký usedlý posázavský tramping (který má své výběžky i např. kolem Vltavy a Kocáby atd.) přechází k západu do trampingu brdského, putovního.

I love how you can essentially create videos on endless topics, never running out of ideas. :) Your observations are always spot on, and it made me realise that I sometimes fail to recognise (or perhaps remember) how many niche and unique cultural habits and traits we actually have. Thanks for your work Jen, your videos always make me feel a little sentimental and homesick since I’ve been living abroad for the last 7 years. Sending love from the UK. 🖤

The best way how to survive the heat in a city is to get out in the late afternoon, to fight against dehydration in some beer gardens, till they are not closed. And then you should prolong your battle in a club where you can dance and do another nice things. When they close, stay in the park till the sunshine. And then go to your bed to be sheltered there in shadow. 😊

Excellent video production as always! Tramping was mentioned in the comments already. It originates somewhere at the beginning of 20th century and it is very influenced by American wild west books. But what I am not sure is how and even if "Tramping" was ever a culture in US? Would love to see some video about it from you!

5:50 - 5:55 Which "foreigners" from which "West"?? My family is an Italian / Austrian / Czech mix and nobody from my family thinks that "everything in Czechia is like 20 years behind". On contrary, in some aspects the Czech Republic is ahead of both Italy and Austria (digitalization, for instance). And also, after over 10 years living in Prague, Czechia is still "the East" to you?? Ale určitý útěk to byl. Do soukromí, do svého světa, kde člověk mohl žít podle svého. My si na to vzpomněli při Corona viru, začalo to fungovat podobně. Existuje někde krásný vtípek. Fotka řadových garáží a zevnitř jdou bubliny s texty. Z jedné "přejete si to ještě vice zastřihnout?"
