Gotta love it when you test hacks in your kitchen and they work out ✨I’ve always made chocolate ganache with a cream but this version with water blew me away 😳😳😳

Don’t try it it turns the chocolate hard rock when it is is melted and you won’t be able to melt chocolate again

Hmmm I’m pretty skeptical of this. And the reason for that is because I’ve accidentally gotten tiny drops of water in my chocolate before, and it’s literally ruins the whole thing. And even if this did work it probably wouldn’t taste to appealing. Ann reardon should check this out.

Yes, if a little bit gets in, but if you add more of any water based liquid (water, milk, cream) it will loosen back up. Obviously this won't save chocolate you wanted to use for bark or coating, but it's essentially how chocolate sauces and ganaches work

That would be a lot of rum 😂 maybe half water half rum? Also alcohol evaporates so I don’t think you can BASE it with rum. Just do a little less water he did and a splash of rum.

@@xolio1993 nope, I recently made a whipped chocolate ganache with whiskey to fill chocolate candies. It _was_ extremely strong but it was for a friend who loves whiskey, and it was meant to be like taking a small shot. I just added room temp whiskey to melted chocolate while whisking. The alcohol did not evaporate in the time that it took to fill the chocolates, although it's possible that the chocolate casing prevented evaporation.

It does work some cake shops use this recipe i think its to do with the amount of water you add you need enough so it holds the chocolate too less water and it seizes it

It does work, first the water seizes the chocolate that's true but if you keep adding more liquid and stir it then it becomes like a sauce.
