Super helpful video! I don't know if I'll ever get a Chanel handbag but it's great to have this info. I think a small flap would be fine for me, as I'm petite, and I'd love to go the vintage route. I really like your blouse today! ☺️✨

This is a great video Jess. It’s a big purchase to get one’s first Chanel and this is a helpful overview. I highly recommend checking out the bags in person when possible before selecting one. I was surprised by how much variance there is in the strap lengths on all the classic flaps, minis, and the WOC. My small classic flap in caviar in black is one of my favorite bags ever. I first bought a seasonal flap but if I would do it again, I would go straight for a classic flap in black.

Hey Jess if I was to get a Chanel mini I would get the rectangle. I prefer the size of the medium but it’s unfortunate the strap is not longer because I am 5’6 and I like to wear my bags crossbody.

Hi beautiful ive waited for a backpack as i love my PSM LV. And this drop has done it i love the wee square one. Hopefully get that as my names on it. Mini squares too short cross body for me so i prefer rectangles. I don’t own any classic small or mediums just cant do the “ everyone has one “ and lack of cross body. I have my four grommets with my reissue mini. But i agree buy as soon as you can the classic. I sold my SF Jumbo black caviar immaculate bag. Too big for me BUT i love the look of your double sided vintage. Adorable. Still waiting for your green mini reissue ) hahaha. I have that blue perfect mini LOVE ….Happy weekend xx

This is very informative Jess, thank you. I would love to have a mini square however I feel that the mini rectangle would be better suited for me. I am a sz 16 and love to carry bags cross body. What do you think?

Thanks Jess for sharing. What do you think of mini reissue? I am thinking of getting one but I am worried whether the leather will wear out easily if I wear cross body. Good that mini reissue has the option to wear double chain.
