I think we should put her loss into perspective. She lives in a high end apartment in a high end area of Paris and I would imagine she was targeted by a professional gang. It doesn't seem like this was opportunistic but more professional. She had probably been selected, watched and followed - too horrible for words but I given the amount of police on site this was a big hit. I'm not sure that most us us living in our small towns are going to be the target for professional gangs. We just need to make sure we're street savvy, secure and insured. It could happen to anyone but I think this incident was a professional hit - she had 300,000k worth of stuff stolen just in jewels & bags. I'm very sorry for her and I would be leaving Paris and heading back to Brighton if it was me to be honest!

I agree. I think this was a professional hit. They were probably watching and stalking her for a while. I myself am very private about my luxury items.

Absolutely. Especially considering that they didn’t only steal jewelleries (you can easily hide them) but many many bags

i agree. especially since she had shown that she lived right in front of a huge park out there and even showed what the lobby of her apartment looked like. i remember thinking i hope she never gets robbed because she was showing her location off like crazy. They were def stalking her and knew her from the internet because there was just no way they were like oh lets choose this apartment and just happened to hit the jackpot. They were def watching her. its such a shame

I agree that blaming the victim is never, ever okay. And no one should live in fear or let fear stop them from living life. It is sad that people are saying she somehow deserved this - no one deserves to have that happen, regardless of their job or social media presence. She seems to be handling it well though.

That's truly unfortunate for her and all the others that have lost their things to theft.

She is handling it very well. But i guess they are just 'things' to her, which is not a bad thing. My things mean alot to me so i would be a mess. Some may call it materialistic, but I just get attached to things, for memories and sentiment. She is not even worried about getting the insurance money (worth 300K Euros), so it says a lot about her position. Good for her I guess. She even said "guys dont donate to me, dont worry about me, give the money to children in need' so that says a lot about her character and I respect her more now.

I think she is devastated about the robbery, especially considering how attached she was to her Hermes bags and how hard it was for her to get them. I think that she’s relieved that she and her bf are fine, Especially if she was present during the robbery.

So always have a video alarm system and a huge gun safe bolted to the foundation. Put your nice things in there! Seriously that's what we do! A huge gun safe is less than a grand. Also, you need extra insurance, regular house insurance doesn't cover luxury handbags FYI.

She did say it hard to get things back from Insurance and that she might not get the money back

It's so unfortunate what happened to her, the trauma is hard to deal with. But she seems to be coping well and she has her priorities straight.

I was thinking of starting doing some luxe videos as I love you tube but when I read about her last week it stopped me in my tracks xx

It’s not really about replacing stuff… it’s more about: criminals know where you live and what your routine is and also know the people around you. That’s what you should be concerned about. Losing stuff is not the issue here. Loss of privacy permanently and having to move and completely change your routine will be the problem.

That’s horrible! 😱 I haven’t been watching KZread and been out of the loop as I’ve been so focused and depressed about the Cuba 🇨🇺 situation not sure if they show that news there that’s where I was born so. i think she will get a lot! just my prediction, with her job she needs lot of different looks!

i have all my handbags insured, so even if someone breaks into my home or even if i get robbed on the streets i get the money for the bag/bags back for what they are insured. i love that because now i can enjoy my bags without being nervous. the insurance covers pretty much everything, even vandalism, theft, robbing, etc. im living in europe (germany) and you are right. thiefs are quite common here, especially wallets in the mall etc happen to be stolen very frequently. i wouldnt feel that comfortable wearing my luxury items if i wont have that insurance. its also very cheap, i only pay 6€ per month and have all my handbags covered. i believe that the company isnt only for germany, maybe you can get that in the uk too? its called „sergurio“

Tamara also had everything included, with more than 1 insurance company, but as she said in the video - if you get robbed, insurance doesn't pay you back almost anything. They will always find some way or reason not to pay you back for lost goods or pay you minimally. Watch her video, she explains the insurance situation. It is very naive of you to think that you would get all money or most of the money back from insurance if you get robbed. Anyone who has ever been insured, even with the best and most expensive insurance can tell you - you don't get almost anything back.

@@anastazija3446 i dont know where you get that information from but i clearly did my research before i choosed a company. i have to insure every single bag with the invoice (if i have one, otherwise they figure out what its worth). every bag has a specific amount of $ that i will get paid when my bag got stolen, got destroyed, i got robbed or anything. there are TONS of people out there working with this company and many of those had cases with them and you know what? they get what they insured the bags for! i dont know what gives you the right to call me naive or anything when you in fact dont know nothing about me or my insurance policies or anything else that stand in the contract i have with them (wich i also got checked by a family member who is a lawyer) so how can you say that? its also not a insurance like you have for your household, its a specific insurance company for luxury items. with a very good reputation! also-every country has different laws when it comes to stuff like therefore its been treated differently in every country. and you also need to do your reaserch and check the contract carefully.

I think hers may have been an inside job. Possibly someone she knew. Just a gut feeling she had so much. It sucks but it could have been worse. Thank god she’s not hurt. All of my things are insured. So I’m ok with buying more. Lol

Okay- I know how you feel about specific fine jewelry, one of the watches I wanted was an onyx Alhambra watch, which is more attainable than most things......hmm, I would say, you really don't have to worry right now , maybe in the future. Actually I remember Sophie Shohet did a storytime of one of their cars being targeted by luxury thieves, who saw them staring at them, and kept going anyways, idk it's rough out here

So sad for Tamara 😔 I want to know how the thefts managed to take so much without anyone spotting, jewellery can be hidden but bags 🛍 🛍 🛍 🛍 🛍 must be an inside job.

I always get paranoid when I'm walking to my car when it's dark if I'm using a high end bag. As long as they're insured ...... most are replaceable!!

They will likely not pay you if it’s stolen. They rarely ever do. They’ll find a loophole to leave you high and dry. It’s all unfortunate.

its so unfornuate what happened to tamara. it really makes me angry. it was defintely a planned job where they knew where she lived and everything. there was just no way they were like oh lets choose this apartment and happened to run across her. They were definetly stalking her. seeing how she was showing where she lived and what the lobby of her apartment looked like im really not surprised it happened. its just so tragic. one thing you should never do is show off where your location of where you stay. people on youtube tend to show off the views from their apartment which is what tamara did and thats a sure way of telling people where your place is. especially the lobby of your apartment. hopefully next time shell be more careful .

Thieves are generally opportunistic. However tis really does seem to be a professional job, with goods “stolen to order”. Very sad world we live in, make the best of ea. day. Enjoy the things you have, don’t hide them away or what’s the point of having them?
