I love caviar minis. I have a square caviar mini and it's like gold to me. Cos when you think about it some of these are rarer than birkins and kellys.

I completely agree with you! ! My first Chanel bag was a rectangular mini in black caviar leather, chevron with light gold hardware. The leather has a subtle iridescent sheen. To this day, it is one of my favorites! The quality of the caviar just doesn't compare. The quality is amazing! It was nice going down memory lane.

Thanks for this video. You really show your appreciation for the caviar minis. I only have one because when I heard that they were discontinuing the caviar in the minis, I had to get one. I have the black iridescent with dark silver or shiny ruthenium hardware from 18C. It’s one of my forever bags.

Totally agree Chanel peaked at 2018-2019. It’s just not the same vibe anymore. I still look but nothing really grabs my attention much anymore. 🖤🖤🖤

Absolutely agree, the caviar mini is the perfect Chanel bag! Crossbody, not too big, durable and classic. So sad I missed the boat on getting it from the boutique.

I LOVED this video! And not only because my twin bag (Chanel reissue mini whom I call "Jade") is positioned behind you! LOL! Reflecting on Chanel's past with all your knowledge was super fun! I would love more videos that focus on some of the luxury houses' history! I can never find any info on past Chanel collections! I feel super lucky that I have one "classic" caviar rectangular mini in my collection- a navy blue one with light gold hardware from 18B. I bought it from Fashionphile late in 2018 for what was considered a premium back then- $4000 USD. I felt so guilty buying it at the time but I don't feel that way anymore!

Such a great video and I love your collection! Mini caviar are so good. I have the 17B black caviar mini rectangular with the burgundy interior! I saw Jerusha’s and had to find it. I scored it in brand new condition for slightly above retail on preloved market in 2019. You are correct the caviar on this one is to die for ! I also just scored a reissue 226 so black with the burgundy interior. I know that’s a rare piece as well and I love it’s a bit understated without the cc logo. Im think I’m just a sucker for the combination. Keep doing your videos they make me really happy to watch. So thanks for all you do and sharing with us. Take care! 😊☺️💕

Mini rectangular is my favourite. I sold 4 chanel mini last few month. 2 square (both pearl crush) and 2 mini reissue. I own 6 mini rectangular now. 2 caviar (black 18C and 18S blue) 2 calfskin (21S irredecent green and 21B ruthenium) 2 grained lambskin (21P Gold and 21S rose gold. I am happy with my collection and I am the same as u. I only keep them and don't use them anymore. Just collection display on my shelf.

I have a black caviar mini square with silver hw from ~mid 2000s and I love it so much :) I can't believe the pink bag is resold for 10k, that is crazy :O

Hi Jessie, Chanel did release a caviar mini in 2020 when they first released the mini with top handle. I am a fan of minis I only have two both in caviar (one is the 2018 black MIFrance) and love them, I agree caviar is the best but I recently bought a small CF in lambskin and I most say that I am impressed that the lambskin looks a lot more durable that before. As per year question, I think, eventually people will pay $$$ for Chanel just like ppl pay today a lot more for Ks and Bs from Hermes, time will tell 😉

I have the 2018 Caviar Black Rectangular too!! I find the ones that are made in France are most desirable and my 2018 Caviar Mini was made in France. . 2018 is considered to be a very good year for all caviar. I purchased 14 Chanel handbags during Covid from all different sizes!! I purchased them all from the pre-loved market and got great deals before the price went up. I was lucky.

Can anyone tell me why Chanel has completely stopped doing Classic Caviar Minis? I know that they want to push sale of the bigger classic bags but these are totally different aesthetics IMO. I'm a petite person and prefer mini bags. I love my minis in lambskin but also want to buy them in caviar leather as well. Not only for the durability and scratch resistance but also for the grainy look that makes me feel different. I don't think the ones with a top handle that has lately been released are at the same level, as the grains look different and cheap. It's like they use lower-quality leather to make them. The top handle is such a lazy design and doesn't have an appropriate place on the bag at all.

Ahhhh, the 18s emerald green, my unicorn….a very expensive unicorn 🦄

I love that u called out Chanel not making minis in caviar anymore because they know they’re more durable so people won’t buy as many. I always thought that. So ur gonna charge as much as a birkin, but u don’t have service the spa after 5 years, not even gold plated anymore, and ur machine made…….

@@Jessiestyle And overall quality! Even my Jumbo flap with silver hardware is so much better quality. It’s 2006. And the seasonal mini rectangle I have from 1989 is just so much more stunning that anything that has been made in 15+ years. I sold everything made after 2006 because they just weren’t the same.
