Hahaha that is just the best most practical way to describe the way Tommy is!
I don't know how fluent he is in Italian, but I assume he speaks some. That intro clip, when he spoke to fans in Milano actually was a bit longer in the Sabaton tour vlog. Italian fans have commented on his very good pronounciation. His Phantom of the Opera was recorded whilst he was on an Italian vacation, in a villa in Toscana. All things make me think he actually speaks some Italian. He had done one more song in Italian except for the parody song Canneloni Maccaroni and I doubt he would do several songs in a language he isn't comfortable with.

That is awesome! I knew that the house looked like Italian architecture!
A very factual reaction 👍 And I'm with you on the memory of another song (there's a - very short - instrumental part that has something of Scorpions "Wind of change" but that isn't the song deep in mind. Like you I can't catch it. 🤷🏼♀️)
You saw the PIZZA!!! Advance one level! No I don't think Tommy is fluent in Italian...he's just an incredible mimic, vocally (thats a compliment!) This song means, "a love song just for you" and it's a cover of a big hit by 883 in Italy...a more contemporary pop song. Tommy made it that song you put on in the morning bc its so dang happy!! Glad I caught you b4 I turned in! Any opportunity for Tommy to show his personality, is very pleasant! You said something like he just a guy singing, happy...made me think to tell you... not only does Tommy have a stunning cover of Alone (Heart) on his channel... theres a fanshot video of Tommy singing the same song, live, at Karaoke!! (His is Sweden's Karaoke Champion!)

Hey, great reaction. I like your analysis and enthusiasm. I can definitely still recommend Tommy's Gary Moore cover. The guitar parts are insane. If you're interested: for example "Empty Rooms" or/and "Over the hills and far away".

_All of them_ *Gary Moore's covers* are more than brilliant! That's a promise that Tommy keeps =) God bless!
If you like Italian singing, you should react to songs by Josh Groban. "Mai" from his Awake album is great.

Thanks for the recommendation! I have added it to my list!
Ciao. In reality there is no similarity between Italian and Swedish and there are even different sounds that do not exist at all in the other language. I don't know if Tommy speaks Italian, but his pronunciation while singing is certainly almost perfect (he only makes a very slight mistake).
He can sing in a opera
He is much better than me at Italian, for sure but I can translate the songs title,"A song about love, only for you! " I feel most Americans just speak English, shouldnt you learn at least Spanish or is only LA people. Im speaking 4 language and understand some others. Nice react.

Yeah, foreign language definitely is not as focused on here. I wish it was!
At about 8:04 it reminds me of the attack on Titan opening
Is Tommy fluent in Italian? Italy is one of the dominant countrys of power metal. So it would make sense if Tommy learned italian - maybe from song lyrics? On the other hand: in his "what happened in 2022"- video he talks about Una Canzone di Amore and mentions the group 883. He first prounounces the numbers in english. Then in SWEDISH (with a heavy italian accent). And pretends it's the italian prounanciation. "As they call them in Italy". I don't think they are speaking swedish in Italy! Tommy was joking of course but maybe he doesn't know the numbers in italian? Or he does but decided to be funny?

He did say 883 in Italian, he said otto, otto, tre, which is 883 in Italian. Is it similar in Swedish? Tommy does speak Italian, don't know how well, though. Someone from Italy should answer that question

@@marinamucic908 Didn't know that, it is very similar in swedish! Åtta, åtta, tre. But then again: both Italian and Swedish are european languages so only natural if there is some likeness...
