I don't hear any autotune on SU-METAL's voice. I don't 100% rule it out as BABYMETAL studio tracks always sound worse than they do live (could put through pitch-tracker to double check).. but as SU-METAL doesn't use autotune live, why bother in the studio? The last time I remember it being used was as a very obvious vocal effect in BxMxC.. but again.. when she sung that live, no autotune, just vocal gymnastics You watched Monochrome live already. If you want to see Queen Su's vocals stripped down and raw.. then watch the "first take" version of that song

Electric Callboy is actually more of a live band. That's their "bread & butter". They record great music, and shoot fantastic videos, but the "live show" aspect is something they think about the most when creating their songs. When creating their live show, they also want to bring a bit of the music videos on stage, so there are several outfit changes, and chaos. I highly suggest checking out their live videos as well as their music videos. They have some on their official channel, but you can also find a ton just searching for them.

I don't think it was autotune, but the harmonizing of Su (BM) and Nico (EC). The first time Babymetal sings the "I will push it to the limit" part alone, the other two times Nico sings with them (until the "bun bun bun" part which was sung by BM alone). And also in the disco ball break, Su and Nico were harmonizing when Su started. Her voice is just brighter than his one. Maybe Babymetal lives rent-free in your mind which is why you made the free real estate comment. 🙂 Actually, many fans would say: Babymetal sounds better live than the album, slightly more raw, less manipulated. Often the band plays louder. Also surprisingly, when you have a crappy 'fancam' made on some phone, all the bases, etc. are muffled but Su-metal's voice comes out the most clear of all the sounds. Not to mention the live-energy of Babymetal (and Electric Callboy) mean live is just a so much better experience. They are also struggling with the gloves, they've performed this live and turns out they can't do anything if they have these on, also the suits they have on have zippers on the back so the staff has to help them get into it, etc. etc. You used the word everywhere, honestly, this video really was everywhere, it was trending on KZread for all this time in many countries and in charts on Spotify and Apple Music, etc. It's been a crazy ride seeing this explosive release.

Wasn't even sure if I liked it or not, but a few more tracks into their catalogue I realized there's sth rly special going on. Their sound is so over the top and in your face all the damn time that there should be no way they can make it work so consistently, yet that's exactly what's been happening for many years now (we're late to the party lol). Unless you have a dealbreaker - say, the harsh or the anime vocals; or the 11/10 energy levels; or the genre-mashing - these are the 👾 you've been looking for 😁

"Off of that intro I was not expecting any of that." Nobody ever does and that's what we love. Welcome to *Harajukucore.* Hanabie (Ha-na-be-eh) refer to their distinct sound as Harajukucore, a mix of metal, punk, electronic, pop, rap and even traditional Japanese instruments. Their name comes from the Harajuku district which is famous for its colorful, eclectic street fashion, music and art scene. You can definitely see and hear those influences in the video. Hanabie are Matsuri - guitar, vocals, compositions. Yukina - clean and harsh vocals. Hettsu - bass and vocals. Chika - drums. Here's a few song recommendations for you - 'We Love Sweets', 'Be the GAL - early summer ver.', 'NEET GAME', 'Envy', 'Reiwa Dating Apps Generation', 'Tousou' (run away). If you want to hear Chika explain to an audience how to pronounce their name, here's the link - kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKZ-t8mkqKzShdI.html

Mexico baby 🎉and they are gifted talented, no audio please
SU-METAL lead singer, you are forgiven this time😉. This awesome collaboration for me rivals Kingslayer and Leave It All Behind. What to listen too🤔. Well, if you have a banana split with three of your favorite ice cream flavors, you enjoy all three😋. This was so special, joy, fun x💯. Suzuka, Moa and Momoko are unleashed!! 🦊 🦊 🦊 🖖❤
And we got a few Momozilla moments to boot!
@@Ganimal83 👍Yep, BABYMETAL's new 🍑 flavor 😋💯. 🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤
@@IAMisLove haha 🤘🦊
this is fucking cool Это просто так круто, каждую секундочку замечаешь.
Какая Монголия! Это Россия!
Tommy is fantastic, more Tommy! 👏👏🤩😍
that "sacrifice" is so funny hahahaha
Absolutely the wrong HANABIE song to start with. When reacting to a band for the first time, you really need to start from the beginning of their catalog. Try on of these, particularly the LIVE one at the bottom: HANABIE ⭐【 WE LOVE SWEETS 】MV kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWVs29uvgKbPhLA.html ⭐【 Pardon Me, I have to go now 】MV kzread.info/dash/bejne/mKl6xLNmfcjdlto.html ⭐【 Pardon Me, I have to go now 】LIVE kzread.info/dash/bejne/qHmuusiDYZDVd84.html
"Huh?!" is about right lol The first time I listened to them it was a different song (Tousou - check it out), but it went down pretty much exactly like this. Unless you have a dealbreaker - say, the harsh or the anime vocals; or the 11/10 energy levels; or the genre-mashing - these are the 👾 you've been looking for 😁
Passcode - Taking you out 🔥🔥 Welcome to japan btw 🔥 This will be a wild adventure 🤣 ✌️
Interesting note on the mixing.
Love hanabie. Check out the amazing all female Japanese Metal band Nemophila next and their song Adabana or Revive next!
There are two lead singers and one extra lead singer. Yukina: lead harsh/growl vocals and cute vocals Matsuri: lead clean vocals (guitar) Hettsu: lead singer in a few songs (bass)
They are fire. You've done Band-Maid & Hanabie, now Lovebites & Nemophila await. The Japanese metal/rock scene is the best in the world currently. So many taleneted bands with the all-female groups leading the way.
