If you want to hear high from Tommy, then I suggest You Raise Me Up, 1 Octave challenge or his cover of Green Day Basketcase or his cover of Phantom Of The Opera, where he sings both parts himself. Taking that topnote!

Yep...to hear Tommy higher, his cover of Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up (One Octave Challenge), for lower, his cover of Sound Of Silence. Tommy will never disappoint you! * He also plays all the instruments/music for his covers! The only proven thing Tommy can't do... is whistle!

Some answers to your questions: *Tommys speaking voice is somewhat low. *She's Gone was released by Steelheart 1990 (so not really an eighties track). You talked a bit about how Tommy could go up to the soprano register. Some men are "countertenor" which is male "mezzo-sopranos". And some females are contraalto. And Contraalto basso is the equivalent of a male baritone! I don't know what they call the ability to match the guitar with ones voice (like you noticed Tommy did here). They have to invent a whole new classification system just for Tommy!

Recorded range F2 to c6 🤣 .. but please please check his “The light 20 years celebration” out !!! a re-recording of an original (written at 14 first recorded at 18) power metal and his voice actually enter heaven in that song .. but you get a little of lower range too. I LOVE that song.

Ok lets talk guitar pedals, I have 8 but never use them all at the same time I often use 5-6, my distorsion pedal, also have super distorsion dimarzio pickups on my guitars , have a EQ-pedal, a flanger, a echo pedal and a wah wah and reverb, a phaser. But today they can have 10-15 pedals Tommy can go even higher then you heard, he often use echo on his song I think he is the most complete musican out there,

Tommy often match his voice with his guitar or the opposite match the guitar with his voice. I don’t know if you react to the swedish cover with Abba " The winner takes it all" (If not I recommend it) which, by the way is my personal favorite of the Swedish songs he done cover of. In that song he go from the highest note and right in to the guitar solo. One of the many times that I get goosebumps from Tommy's way of arranging his covers.Abba who are one of Sweden's biggest exports of all time for their special sound, melodies and voices that are perfectly composed in a musical harmony. They are for most people songs that give them good energy and a good feeling. Even though Tommy is from the younger generation, he has probably been influenced by them as many other Swedish musicians. Tommy has done some covers of them which are fantastic. He keeps the framework of their songs and drives them up to a higher tempo and intensity and rearranges them to Tommy-style which I think is so much better. Thanks for a very good reactionchannel.

From my experience with pedals as a guitarist most distortion pedals seem to emphasize the lower and higher frequency registers of the guitar while Overdrive brings out more of the middle register comparatively to a distortion variant.

There is one dude who can hit high notes so easily and insane as Tommy -Yannis Papadopoulos from Beast in black. He hasn't did so much covers as Tommy but anyway you will be impressed.2 songs I recommend to react is -Ghost love score and Sahara. Both are Nightwish covers.

Tommy are so talented and im always looking forward to every friday when he drops a new cover. If you are looking for other cover artists, check out Leo Moracchioli with his cover of Toto’s Africa. He’s the king If covers. There are not a song he can’t make a metal cover of. Thats a banger of a song and his cover are legendary, you’re in for a surprice there 😉 Or Adele’s Hello, another favorite of mine from Leo. 😀

Hmm as a 80's kid, the 1980's is not the era of classic rock. Classic rock "ended" in the early 70's late 60's. But a lot of classics from all era's

She's Gone is definitely an 80's song even if it was released in 1990 (the 80's style contined until around 92 when Grunge came). Tommy's version of this song is easily the best ever made if one considers vocals. Tommy has a voice that very few can compete with including the singer of Steelheart. If you're interested in hearing other covers of this song I can recommend the one that was made by a singer called Rockmina. Her vocals aren't as good as Tommy's, but I think she captured the emotional part of the song better than Tommy: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dZyquLeqZtvfes4.html

There's a sweet spot between pausing and interrupting the flow. I think you should try and find it, because you're just ruining the experience for everyone. And NEVER interrupt the guitar solo! EVER!

You definitely should have heard the original version. I for one didnt like his cover. This is considered classic rock. They did not come out until after grunge had taken off and was one of the last hair bands. the reason they were not bigger because of grunge overtaking hairbands on radio and MTV
