The key word here is "LITTLE" career . Does this mean anyone wit unbelievable God given talent has no right to try and make it a larger career? I thought the basis of BGT was to give talent a stage where they could be dicovered. If that is not what BGT was trying to do then why have to program at all ? Sydnie is just so AMAZING ! Thank you Sydnie for sharing your talent with the world. Love from Canada eh !!

I could care less about her past performances. Loren Allred went thru the same crap on BGT about her professional past, and in the end, that's probably what kept her from winning. Because she was hands down the most talented. But Sydnie is different. She had the talent show universe eating out of her hand before she even performed. I think a lot of us thought she was a standup comedian---so incredibly funny. Her audition is my all time favorite, and at 81, I've seen a few. I've never seen a more likable contestant. And then she just knocked it out of the park with her singing performance. Now she has to try and beat that. Not an easy task. Song choice is key to her winning. I'm hoping she stays with Broadway/West End songs like "She Used to Be Mine" or something from Le Mis. Also maybe Lauren Daigle's "You Say". Whatever happens she had her moment with that Wonderful audition, and no one can take that from her.

Her voice is insanely good & she clearly has the charisma & talent to do music professionally. I hope all her dreams come true! We all have pasts. And I'm sorry, but if you have a dream & never do anything towards making it a reality... then you don't really care about that dream. It's more impressive that she has put in the work imo. Of course tv producers likely told her to tone down her resume so it looked better for tv. It's literally HER DREAM... who cares if she had to tell a few harmless lies to make it come true. There will always be bitter people when there is someone courageous enough to put in the effort of chasing their dreams. It makes those scared to do that feel better about their lack of action if they can stop someone elses dream in It's tracks or prove they don't deserve it. Misery loves company. Keep going Sydney! Your voice is an absolute gift & the fact that you've trained it shows you value your gift❤

Sydnie has come a long way since those performances on cruise ships in musicals. Her interpretation and vocal control has truly grown. You can't sustain a life aboard a ship for a long time so she would have had to come back to reality and work the everyday jobs to make ends meet. In the meantime she's obviously hoping to be properly exposed for her great talent and this is the platform she has chosen. She could have chosen to build up a KZread career with followers but instead she chose this. Good for her. I hope she does really well and gets to make beautiful music with proper benefits in the not-too-distant future.

Sydney Christmas i've watched your performances on BGT (a ridiculously amount of times) and every time you hit me with the emotion you put in, what you have gained through life experience has made into the star that we are all seeing and for many of for the first time, I hope your reach your dreams

Seriously if someone is that good, and Sydnie Christmas is really that good, do you think she would have no experience, that she has just been hiding away to be "discovered" by BGT. Its hard to make it professionally. She may have some early breaks and is now struggling to make it. It all depends on timing and opportunities. Good luck to her if she has this opportunity on BGT and gets to be seen by a larger audience. She absolutely deserves it.

I think it's funny and Simon said it in his initial reaction, he said "it's really hard to get that initial break especially for something you really love" and even the name doesn't say "Regular Britain Got Talent" it says Britain Got Talent. For every noticed performer there are thousands performing on stages around the world that want to be noticed. You use whatever means you can to be noticed too. Susan Boyle performed in all kinds of places before BGT. Every so often there is 'nothing to everything' performer but these shows don't make promises either.

They’re criticising her for working on a bloody cruise ship.. as a performer I couldn’t think of anything worse. I hope she wins a the lot and I hope she gets contracts for the West End. I think she will, they’d be crazy if they don’t.

I have seen so many that have been on AGT and BGT and then go on American idol and The Voice , and then go bankrupt and never heard from again , So I don't blame any of them for talking every shot they can . It shows that making it big isn't as easy as so many believe ,

It seems there are always those people who want to say the worst, to bring people down .People who deliberately want to find something negative. I prefer thinking the best of people and giving chances. I see nothing wrong in reaching out for an opportunity to reach a broader audience. This provided more people to hear her. Great job and so glad that we all have a chance to listen to her beautiful voice. She seems quite genuine. I hope she has a great career ahead of her❤😊🙏

Performing arts is not a guaranteed job, it's difficult, most people who criticise others like Sydnie are probably in a full time getting a salary sick pay, holiday pay, people in performing arts get none of that, they work damn hard, they have to everything to be noticed, to be seen, there are hundreds more like her and very few parts, they all deserve a chance,

Many professional performers have appeared on BGT. It’s not an amateur show, it’s a talent show. They could change the rules of entry if they wanted to. The vast majority of performers are not working full time in entertainment because they haven’t had a big break. Sydney has never headlined a West End or Broadway show and many talented people may appear in the Chorus and are never discovered and sink into obscurity. She is a brilliant performer and deserved to win.

The show is called Britains Got Talent not Britains got talented amateurs? How many viewers knew about her? I didn't. Not sure why she is being highlighted, the show has had top class Magicians that clearly should be in Vegas that don't practice their acts in the bedroom at home. Let's have it Sydnie. Leading lady in the West End I will definately buy tickets. ❤

Sydney is Amazing and very talented ! So what about her past, she wanted to get noticed more. Hey ! Remember Loren Allred ? She did a lot before her audition on BGT and she didn't win but now she's doing well. Sydney, you sing so beautifully and you have a fantastic sense of humor, people are going to love you like i do. Congratulations to you, you are going to amazing things. Please don't listen to the haters.❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Anyone who thinks that people who are already winners in other countries or outstanding in their stage performance previously are not a regular occurance on these shows are living under a rock. And, what's so bad about being intoduced to a wider audience? I'm glad for alln the talent these shows have brout to My attention! And having experience isn't a bad thing if you're going to be expected to perform repeatedly on the show and if winner, then under contract. There have been those that had amazing talent but sadly don't withstand the rigors of the job.

Hate to tell you but many....MANY of the very best "first performances" on BGT have been professional singers and musicians. Including choirs, solo's, opera etc.; Loren Allred, The 100 voices choir (that has sung all over the planet), Luke Kennedy, Reigan Derry (from a girl band to solo on BGT), Kümmert, The 4th Power... the list is endless. You should be able to spot the professionals from the amateurs. Not hard to do. This is why I don't watch the shows only the highlights later on KZread lol.

AGT has had several professional contestants also. Not all professionals are big time. I hope she either wins and becomes big-time or comes out with an album. If she has any recorded music, I haven’t been able to find it. Look forward to hearing more.

In 2012 Simon disqualified a mom who sang a perfect With You song. He found out she had done a few gigs for money but in every respect still an amateur. She wasn't allowed to continue to the next round. How things have changed.
