Sara Bareilles performs "What Baking Can Do" at the press event welcoming her and co-star Gavin Creel to the Adelphi Theatre in London for a limited six-week run (from 27 January). Bareilles, who wrote the music and lyrics for the show, will perform as Jenna, and Creel reprises his role as love interest Dr Pomatter.

Honestly the absolute perfect voice for the song. It’s almost like she wrote it or something. 😂💕
Ok that applause at the end infuriates me. Everyone there should be on their feet screaming their freaking heads off because SARA FREAKING BAREILLES just KILLED a performance of a very challenging song from an award-winning musical. They act like she's some semi-talented singer performing at an airport.

I believe this was at a press night so had a very small audience of journalists etc x

If everyone clapped really loud at the end I bet there would be a lot of comments saying how the audience is obnoxious and doesn't let us listen to Sara.

i’ve heard this was a press performance and the audience was only a few journalists so that may explain the lacklustre applause

Just to mention this was filmed at a press launch in the daytime, so there was only a smattering of people in the audience, just in the first couple of rows of the stalls x
She is effortlessly amazing
The fact that there are only 6k views on this masterpiece is completely stupid and bewildering. So many more people should’ve heard and seen this masterpiece. What a shame that we’re keeping this all to ourselves :p
