YES and that's one of the reasons why she's my favourite Jenna! cause i've seen some performances of Sara as Jenna and eventhough i love her voice, her movements doesn't look very natural (but again, sadly i haven't seen her live so i just can give my opinion from watching videos on youtube). Anyways i don't think there's a bad jenna actually, i think all of them are different from each other and that each actress just have a very own Jenna

Francisco Velazquez yea also Sara’s not really an actress. She’s a singer who can act, but everyone else onstage is gonna have more experience than her in acting so that emphasises her flaws even more.

They memorize the song by heart which makes it easier for them to remember all the blocking they need to do while singing since singing is like second nature to them :)

This. Is. Art. Every word, note and action is perfectly delivered. She is the perfect Jenna. Perfectly imperfect in character and the most accomplished performer. I would have loved to see Waitress with Jessie leading the cast. Beautiful in every way.

I'm trying to find a version where they show the fight between Jenna's Mother and Father but in every version she is in the camera's focus and it really makes me upset because that information adds so much more meaning to Jenna's character and a lot of people miss that detail if they haven't seen the show live.

@@sintrahorwitz1443 It went really well! There was this really funny part when we were doing "Bad Idea" when someone whistled and we both broke out of character to look at that person while singing before resuming the song. It was such a fun experience!

i saw this on 2016 and Jesse had an understudy and i was devastated i just saw it Saturday with Sara bareilles and it was amazing thank you for sharing this!!!!

i just had my first singing lesson and we were doing this song and ‘don’t let me down’ part and i couldn’t do it and i went straight in for the belt and my teacher told me that i don’t have to do belt there and that original jenna didn’t do belt either and i was surprised so i’m here checking it and wow
