@@jddallan1115 It's all subjective. I listen to both. Chris is special, his vocals are right up there with the very best. The passion and soul behind every lyric is something else. Luke more falls into the catchy, easy listening up beat category. His vocals don't move mountains the way Chris' do. Kinda like a male Jennifer Nettles. I'm sure someone with a degree in music could point out the objective reasons why he's a better vocalist. Maybe certain notes he can hit or guitar skills etc. Chris being far superior on the latter, even to the untrained eye/ear. Luke has catchy songs that do well and a good voice. Chris is simply special and a rare one off.

I discovered this song, Steel drivers ,and Chris years before he was mainstream famous. Love it. His explosion was bittersweet for us early fans but well deserved.
