This is talent. Nothing but a Guitar, his voice and his wife's backing vocals. I'm in love with the soul he puts in to his music. You can feel the pain, and love in this song. It's rare these days for an artist to be able to show the emotion Chris puts in to his music. So glad that he has made it. For those of you who enjoy great music I suggest you look up the Steeldrivers and The Jompson Brothers. Chris was a part of both hands, and you absolutely won't be disappointed

According to the CDC, suicide is the tenth on the list as of 2014 (www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm). Still higher than I thought, so it obviously still deserves attention. The older you get the less tolerance you have for fake and I think that's why we as human beings hold onto nostalgia so closely whether it be songs, items, thoughts, etc... Since I've crossed the threshold of 30 I can say that I have little interest in fake and crave more depth in all facets of life. This is one of those times where you thank whatever or whoever that you decided to click and listen and just sit in amazement at his talent. The more I've experienced life and all its wrinkles the more I gravitate towards artist and people alike who have experienced similar wrinkles in life(love, pain, happiness, etc..). I sit here and listen to this song in the dark by myself because it gives me a connection to the real and tells me life will always surprise you with a new emotion you've never felt/experienced before and add another wrinkle.

The fact that Chis Stapleton can send you on a roller coaster of all sorts of emotions with every song and every word is exactly why he is such a great artist. But the fact that he can sound this amazing playing live is the icing on the cake. There is only a select few who are truly talented enough to walk out on stage and give you exactly the voice that drew you in in the first place. Alot of artists are just lucky enough to have great producing behind their work.

Right now, there's people all over the world who are just like you They may be lonely they may be missing somebody they may be hurt They may be scared of their past Maybe they are dealing with issues no one knows about, they may have secrets you wouldn't believe They wish, dream and hope. And right now, they might be sitting here reading these words. We wrote these words for you, so that you don't feel so alone and sad anymore. Dont be depressed about your past, dont stress about your future, focus on the present, the here and now. And if today is not that great, don't worry, tomorrow is a brand new chance! There's so much love to be shared with the world, yes there's darkness with the world and within ourselves but you have to let the light win. If you read this, please share it with others so they may feel a little better. Have a blessed day!

karen anderson Hey Karen, my name is Bobby Jones - we obviously don’t know one another, however, we both share something close in common: Both of our lives have been affected by addiction. I did things to hurt my parents that I never would have imagined I would do in a million years - they raised me great, they were loving, they were ALWAYS active in my athletic endeavors, and gave me more than I deserved; I say all of this to give you comfort in knowing that you could have been the best parent to your sons, but addiction doesn’t discriminate so don’t beat yourself up, if you are. Ultimately, both of your sons have to get tired of living a life of darkness and despair before they will overcome, which is just what happened with me. I had nowhere to go, was out of money, had no car, and had just been kicked out of a Motel 6 for not being able to pay, so I called my Mom and I remember her exact words that she said while crying “Bubs, I love you more than you can even imagine, but I’m sorry, I can’t help you - Figure it out on your own and please don’t call me because your Dad and I don’t have anything to give you anymore.” I am a momma’s boy & that hurt me to my core, so that changed my life and about 2-3 weeks later I decided to get clean after 5 years of progressing from pain pills to IV heroin. I’ve been clean and sober for 6.5 years now, have earned my MBA, and now own two successful & thriving businesses. I recently started a non-profit to try my best to help teens and young adults going through addiction to see that there truly is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’, which is nearly impossible to see when in the throes of addiction. Hopefully, you are able to see this comment sooner rather than later, as I would love to do what I can to help you & both of your sons in any way I possibly can. I know this might seem out of the ordinary, but what we need more of in this world is love for your fellow people, regardless of race, religion, creed, economic position, etc. and I truly love helping those going through addiction because I feel like I can make a positive impact on many people that are going through the same thing that I did. Whoever sees this and needs help, please contact me at the email address below and I promise to get back with you promptly. Blessings to you & your family, Karen, and blessings to all those dealing with addiction. All my love, Bobby JL Jones BobbyJLJones@gmail.com
