    Without a doubt for me nothing beats Golijan as far as synthesizing information, there's info in his lectures which I never saw anywhere else. Boards and beyond is very comprehensive as well but it can be a bit mundane at least for me. Great video tho Prerak!!

    Agreed! But, I think to appreciate the nuances that goljan has, you really need to have a pretty solid foundation!

    Think you could do a video going over how you review a uworld question/block? Everyone knows it’s important to do questions but methods of reviewing them I feel like can make or break the effectiveness of uworld. Thanks!

    Heyy Thank you for the advice. I want to ask about how we can study for Goljan? Should we passively listen to his lectures and write down important things we don’t already know or use those with his book? TIA

    Hey man great video! Thanks :)) I need an advice, im in my last weeks of preparation, yesterday I took nbme 17 and got 246 :/. I used B&B but I was planning to buy it again for 1 month and watch them at 2x speed to cover FA. Do you recommend me to do that? Im also doing my second UW pass and I have nbme 19,20,22,18 and UWSA 2 left, thanks :))))

    If you could go through all of Boards and Beyond+the Qbanks, would you prefer it over pathoma & golijan+ the Qbanks?

    Used a combination of zanki, but A LOT of my own cards. My own cards were significantly more effective than the premade ones just because I remembered them better.

    Would you say that microbiology and pharmacology are fairly low yield on Step 1? Or that sketchy does not cover it as well as Boards and Beyond? I am a fairly visual learner and can't imagine not using sketchy for this information, especially?

  • @PrerakJuthani

    Both are high yield af for step1 and I only used sketchy for both pharm and micro and they work like a charm!

    Great point, def didn't mention it because I didn't use it during dedicated (had already finished it beforehand), but def recommend sketchy MICRO + pharm (which I had memorized prior to starting, never touched path)

    I used it every now and then, but honestly, if I go through all the BB that I did (during dedicated and during first 2 years), I think I only covered like 25-30% of it.

    Pixorize and BnB... pixorize is like sketchy for biochem. Use boards and beyond for the material not covered in Pixorize

  • @PrerakJuthani

    @PrerakJuthani

    100% BB. I went through BB biochem initially before dedicated and it was a gold mine. If you take the time, it is a LOVELY and REALLY useful way to connect all the pathways and got me to 85-90th percentile in biochem Qs on Uworld.

    I don't think 6:20 is exactly right.. Basically everyone from 195 to 265 does Uworld atleast if not anything else.

  • @PrerakJuthani

    Great point. my point was just that, if you use uworld to the "optimal" capacity, I think it has the potential to get you to 250+, but the problem is that, to use it at that level, you need to have a large amount of background knowledge, which must be acquired through pathoma/BB/etc.
