Not in that timeline at least. The change makes sense when you think a about it. Nero is the 10th Dead Apostle Ancestor. He shouldn't be killed that easily. Vlov gave a much harder fight being the 19th Dead Apostle Ancestor in the Remake compared to the fight against Nero Chaos in the original.

@@tanoshiofm3852 Nah. Vlov is just a "worse match up" for Shiki than Nrvnqsr was. Nrvnqsr relied on his durability and beasts, which are meaningless against MEoDP and Shiki tapping into his Nanaya mindset. Vlov literally sensed that fighting Shiki head on was dangerous and camped far away from him, bombarding him with his icey-spikes. Plus his Idea Blood and frosty temparatures wears Shiki down too. Nrvnqsr is tremendously hard to kill. Even for Shiki. Vlov himself isn't, but getting to him is the problem here. That in itself doesn't make him stronger than OG Nrvnqsr.

@@justasoulsfan9805 We haven't met the Remake Nrvnqsr yet, we don't know what he is capable of. Also, MEoDP means shit when many Chaos's beasts swarm Shiki at once, especially when Nero probably has more than just dogs within his body

@@legalwaterdrinker3286 We saw Shiki speedblitzing through everything Nrvnqsr threw at him. He can keep up with both Nrvnqsr and Arcueid's speed (essentially most vampire's and yokai's speed) if the Nanaya instincts kick in. Even Ryougi can beat Nrvnqsr in MBAA. Also it doesn't matter what Remake Nrvnqsr is capable of or if he has more abilities than OG Chaos. Vlov is weaker than OG Chaos anyway. Just like most other things in Nasuverse, everything is decided by how the characters are matched up. By your logic, Gilgamesh should never have lost to Artoria and Shirou in Fate/UBW route.
