The one and only exception to that imo is Shiki vs Nero in the Original, still love it as much as this because the fight didn't need the visuals and music the Remake had, the text alone carried that fight

I like that it is aknowledged that Tohno Shiki fights dirty. Especially in comparison to Ryogi Shiki.

Ryougi had years of training as a demon hunter magus thanks to her family and Touko. Because of that she is able to control her mystic eyes of death much better than tohno( nanaya). Tohno barely received training and had been kept on the dark of his true heritage. Tohno would be monstrous if received the same training like Ryougi.

Shiki Tohno shouldn't have the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, after all what he has is basically an evolution of his Pure Eyes, his brain and body are not ready for it and that's why he deteriorates and reduces his own lifespan when using his eyes, unlike Ryougi who is basically the perfect user, so much so that she is able to focus and unfocus Lines and Points (yes, she doesn't deactivate it as the anime version suggests).

Reminds me a lot of Mahoyo fights, really cool.

The remake is hard to play on english rn and isnt on pc, it also only has less than half the routes of the original, BUT its generally better in most aspects uh i think you should just play both

Read the original vn (along with plus disc and kagetsu tohya) since remake only has 2 routes for now. After that you can read remake which has an official english translation that will release on 2024 (around june maybe). It's more accessible and you can support type moon as well
