A small whiff of info.

How do you isolate a terpene?

I give my mum a peice of each strain i grow to smell for an uplift and anti inflammatory properties, helps her airways, i like the intense smell of fresh cut bud i chuck a peice in a small container with lid shake it up and snozz it for 5 minutes, then i like to blaze abit of cured bud, what a wonderful medicine it is.

@@weed-smart they say it makes the flower taste harsh and if I'm honest it actually does because every time I get flower with farnesene i can feel it in my throat last time I smoked flower with farnesene it was cherry punch

Never done anything like that but I would reccomend to to a small test batch and apply a tiny bit to see how it is. You can always add more

You could try a fungicide but going forward you should try to avoid this in the first place. I personally would isolate or dispose all affected plants and trim off the affected areas to reduce the risk of it spreading. You most likely have too high humidity and too low airflow. Also make sure you are defoliating. Chances are you have way too many fan leaves that hinder the airflow. Especially at the bottom of the plant you can trim generously once your plant has a woody stem.

Interesting there is overlap with contents of pine oil
