Ben H yup, if pharmaceutical companies can’t make their money off of it they will do everything in their power to make sure it isn’t used or promoted as a cure or to relieve and medical problem. If they had control over all the sales then it would be used for everything.

lmao this dude is full of shit. im an organic chemist. if they knew what they where talking about they would tell you about how terpenes convert to benzene and other similar highly toxic molecules when smoked. but who reads real lab reports anymore? no one, u fucking people just believe what u like to hear. look up the lab report from Portland university on the dangers of terpenes. its basic organic chemistry, and i already know these fuckers know none of that, they will just tell u what they need to so u buy shit. if u are smart u would buy terpene free pens. @@beefcakefpv7913 That's my point. There's an obvious disconnect with the consumer -- and I find that troubling with a psychoactive substance that's trying to gain legitimacy and respect in the marketplace. I find the lag on consumer education, nay, the lag on education and training on the sales side about as troubling as if I went into the pharmacy with a question and they told me it's none of their concern. From what I've experienced, the interest is in pushing product rather than responsible advocation.

@@beefcakefpv7913 And to clarify, my original comment was in response to where he spoke about guiding consumers to appropriate strains. Maybe some of these new sleek dispensaries I now see have worked this angle better -- if that's the case, I hope they put the awful places I've been to out of business. I started smoking a couple years ago and was repeatedly disappointed by cannabis service staff -- that's my beef. I figured enough out through blind fumbling and now grow my own -- but not everyone has that luxury.

Terpenes have their own individual pharmacologic effects which have applications for both medicine and recreation. Terpenes can do other things besides just simply acting as stand alone molecules. For example they can aid in the absorption of other medical components in cannabis products. These synergistic aspects of botanical formulations and terpenes are fascinating in terms of their medical and recreational potentials.

Honest opinion: I got a lemon bean (cannabis) strain smoked it love how it smells but it makes me puke. Afterward I realized believe it just is after a big toke and its just so strong. it keeps happening after the first to second hit in the beginning of smoking after getting really heavy breakfast. i guess lemons can be a super powerful stomach type of strain... Maybe? I love all weed! Only thing is I love indica and this one is a sativa category.

More than likely it's not the terpenes, the cheaper vape oils use properline glycol and glycerin. You may be reacting to them.
