I hope gt8 is on ps5 ONLY, gt7 being on ps4 as well really held it back imo. Would love 24+ player grids and full use of the ps5 power.

If they can run it in VR, they can run it on PS4. Both hold back the game in similar ways.

Even though im hyped for Silent Hill 2, Star Wars, Phantom Blade & Wolverine, im more hyped for 3rd party Playstation VR support more then anything. Behemoth, Zombie Army, Wanderer Remake, Alien, & Metro all coming this year, & still Wanderer 2 & Low-Fi plus 2 1st party games & Resident Evil 9 to come.

We don't know anything about re9 yet. They just said it's in development wich we already knew anyway. After the re4 vr numbers I'd be cautiously optimistic about a re9 vr port.

I bought re4, for the vr mode. I have no played it yet, so I might not count as one. I’ll buy every re game that has vr, I won’t if it doesn’t.

I have psvr1 and 2 hooked up permanently. Still play Ace Combat 7 and Skyrim regularly. Ace Combat 8 would be awesome and what about RE9!!😊

I do think the article was total fiction/opinion, but my guess would be Alyx and *something else.* Just weird to me they would advertise "you can play that other company's game on PC!" for free. I know it's to sell the adapters, but still. I do suspect the "two games" were just two random VR games he saw in Sony livestreams.

Last of Us Part 1&2 Probably not but if they did do at least Part 1(like they did for RE4&8), with the release of season 2 of the HBO show coming sometime in the next year. That could be a big sell for people to buy the headset.

That would be perfect honestly. They need a huge IP to bring non VR players into VR. Last of us is one of their biggest IPs. Might be bigger than resident evil honestly. Though what would really be the best for VR would be something even bigger like GTA 5 or spiderman in VR.

Ace Combat is third party. Ideally, the full ACE 7 that was on PCVR could be ported to PSVR2 sooner than a whole new game. For some strange reason HorizonCOM was built in UE5 and not Decima, I can only assume there is or was some compatibility issues or perhaps new hires knew UE and would have taken more time in Decima. If it’s the case that Decima hadn’t/hasn’t had the new VR tech integrated at the engine level I don’t see GG doing anything VR any time soon, but there again I would have thought whatever the case GG’s second title/team would be done. (Not Horizon related) It seems like 2025 will be the year, at least for flat games at PlayStation. My guess is that The Persistence 2 and a VR port of Naughty Dog’s space game rumored several years ago are the two games in development. Firesprite has released 2 PSVR games and no other first party studio left has so it has to be one of the unsuspected studios.

Didn't Insomniac get hacked recently and the files showed that they had no vr games in the works. Personally I don't think we will see any more Sony First party vr games.

This all rests on an opinion of a meta writer. They could have none or they could have 2 or they could have more. Nobody really knows, but yes killzone vr would be on my list.

A sequel to hcom wouldn’t cost as much because you could use alot of already created assets. But yeah, we’ll see.
