. They are only two part comics but I always enjoyed the ones where iron man and dr.doom went back to the land of King Arthur. Demon in a bottle was good too.

I remember this arc from the Iron Man Animated Series where Tony went completely off his rocker.

Issue 232 of Iron Man had Stark having a nightmare about his technology going rogue. Also, the Demon in a Bottle and the Armor Wars were both written by David Micheline and Bob Layton.

Damn shame RDJ will never act it out.

"Red Snow" is one of my favorite issues. :)

all the story is going to be changed to be around Rhodey and probably some last appearance of Pepper as Rescue, mentoring Iron Heart and maybe we'll get Iron Lad

There's so many great story arc of Iron man needs to play in the silver screen. However, the best actor for the job (Robert Downey jr) was killed off.

Robert Downey Jr. decided that he wasn't gonna play Iron Man anymore, so Marvel decided to kill off Iron Man. Besides, do you know how much he got paid to be in the movies? A brief cameo would cost most of the show's budget.

Kevin Feige said from day one the MCU would go a different direction than the comics but they are using Source material to help write the stories.

Well there can be iron man movies outside the mcu. Same thing with spider man. Like they can make an animated series or video games using his story lines

I miss when the general public didn't know Iron Man was actually Tony Stark. It could of been a cool thing to explore more in the Mcu movies.

Stingray is a character I hope appears in the show. He maybe can connect the MCU to Namor.

The mandroid part was different in the arnor wars episodes, hawkeye fought iron man in the shield base. Cap'n America was not in it.

How will Armor Wars work as a show without Stark?

The basis is still there: “Ironman” tracking down villains misusing stark technology. *or they could cheaply revive him somehow, using that to justify his confusion and mania in tracking down all the stolen tech

You didnt covet Tony s nightmare in ussue 232 which is the epilogue of the saga.

Well Tony and 'Ghost' are both dead, and even if he wasn't, we've already seen Tony do alcholism, and realising his creations killed people. Do we really need Disney to make another film about how "IP theives are the most evil people imaginable?" And after certain recent history, I'm also not sure some parallel version of Tony going all "I can shoot someone on Wallstreet and get away with it" would go over very well.

Armor Wars Wont work without Tony Stark in the MCU. So it is a failure even before it's filmed. The worst Disney's mistake was to kill Tony. And that is why the MCU is slowly falling to pieces now.

it makes perfect sense to follow up with this story after his death. Naturally with his death many people would try to get their hands on his tech, particularly the government and many shady people like Sharon Carter
