Hey bro. Nice vid. Is your monitor a view sonic elite?? Also where did you get that sick spirited away wallpaper.

I've also got it connected to the Samsung soundbar b650 with the I think five speakers in the soundbar and the woofer with a maximum 430 watts works really really well

in 2023, gsync and freesync are now compatible with a freesync monitor and a nvidia gpu. in nvidia control panel, turn on vsync in manage 3d settings and under display settings, click setup gsync and turn on gsync. then turn off vsync in game and then you can turn on freesync via the monitor’s menu

What is ur main monitor I’m interested building a new set up

I'm hoping that you will see this like this afternoon I have a Samsung 49-in curved monitor with AMD free sync currently connected to my Intel nitro 5 but I have an Asus Rog strix AMD ryzen 9 does the curved monitor work better with the ASUS Rogue strix AMD considering the monitor has AMD free sync and I ask you this to save me setting it up if the answer is no Can you answer that but failing that I guess I'll just have to try it myself. I use Daum potplayer player and have got it stretched keep aspect ratio and the top and bottom is slightly missing I guess I could mess with it to get it right but is there a way to get movies exactly on the screen Or will the AMD ASUS rog strix ryzen 9 do that for me ?

I turned it on my Samsung TV and it makes Fidelity mode on GTA like Performance mode

so its just like vertical sync?

Is the term v-sync only describing the implementation of G or free?

Yeah kinda , it try to match refresh rate of monitor amd fps but it also lead to fps capping.. if you have good/great monitor generally better to turn off that settings

Absolutely not free-sync you can leave on if it helping you buy overdrive you want that below high so medium

A monitor will display the image but the GPU doesn't support gsync

I always said that these techs are for low fps games, high fps games just don't need those techs

Nah already low. Recommend for 60 fps if your monitor is 120hz for example

if you really need to talior your in game settings to make someone work you shouldn't really bother. apparently vsync needs to be on and you need to cap your fps 3 under your montiors hz, if you need to lose 3hz why even bother

I still don’t understand what g sync and free sync is some people understand better with a visual live demonstration and I’m one of those people
