I have had this condition for 14 years and it is terrible, so many days ruined by the eyefloaters so much stress so much suffering depression, and the doctors only tell you to get used to it, like this is an aging process as this were a wrinkle on the face, Noooo this is something that medicine should have investigated years ago, help so many people who have had this terrible condition for years, such as EYEFLOATERS, and this it is not something you can get used to, it is something that many years ago should have been solved, and prevented so much suffering in those who suffer of this condition

The pictures of the floaters actually caught my eye because I have one that has been growing bigger and it actually looks like it has tentacles in the front of it and now there looks to be like very faint outlines of smaller ones I swear their bugs cause they change shape every time they come back into my field of view.

Hi! I have PVD for 2 years. The lights have a phosphorescent soft glow, in the corners of the eyes, just below the eyebrows - they are in the shape of brackets, (a thin crescent) and move quickly only downwards and I can only see them in the dark. I also have strange photopsias (outdoors, short-lived, not permanent) - they are cottony in color - spots about 5 mm. - and they move slowly - like in a liquid, but also from the bottom up - in all directions (on the periphery) Doctors only believe the examination - they say that the retinas are ok. I have a Weiss ring in both eyes and floaters. What test should I request to make sure the PVD is complete? And more :) Any recommendation - how to protect the retina (as much as possible) when sneezing and coughing?

My flashes flash electric blue (thin stripes - brackets) in the upper corners of both eyes - whenever I want - and if I look up and to the right - I see them - they don't bother me, but the problem is - if there are flashes - there are retinal risk. They are easier to see in the dark. In short - they blink there constantly - whether I want to see them is another question. If I ask and look in the familiar way (up) - I see them.

Respected sir, some studies claim that eating pineapple or drinking pineapple juice can help get rid of floaters as pineapple contains bromilin enzyme. Is it true ?

Hello!, thank you for your question. In theory and a few research papers the importance of Bromelin has been highlighted in improving the condition of floaters. But in practice there is limited data to suggest this. If you come across any peer reviewed studies in listed journals stating or claiming the efficacy of its role in diminishing floaters, please feel free to share them with us.

Floaters can change shape, and size throughout the duration of your life. If they increase in number then we can look for a probable cause and fix it

what if we change our eyes? does they disappear?
