Nicola Gude Nothing wrong with hating what is hateful. Whatever it's past contribution (which is debatable), Islam has precisely nothing to offer civilisation. I remember reading a few years back that there are more new books published in Denmark in an average year than across the entire Islamic world. It has been in a civil war for centuries while sporadically declaring war on 'infidels'. It only ceased attempting to militarily invade the West when our military technology eclipsed theirs in the 17th century. We have been attempting to deal with them as though they are a normal culture that is equal to ours. That experiment is coming to an end

However, about 100 years ago, in the UK, women were finally granted basic rights such as voting. Therefore, I believe that Islam supports the rights of Women and Men because it's supports the idea of equality. What you see in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is unfortunately due to culture that stupid people eventually associate it with religion. So I suggest you do your own research rather then relying on the media.

I haven’t seen much of her but from what I have seen, it is incredible she ever managed to get a job as a journalist at all. She was showing her bias here by constant ad hominem attacks on one guest, whilst also misrepresenting his views. This Piers Morgan-like tabloid-style ‘gotcha’ journalism seems to be the prevailing tactic among TV journalists these days.

Channel 4 should be ashamed. Blatant bias and a complete misrepresentation of Rod Liddle.

That woman is so deluded and hypocritical about everything it's cringeworthy. Her job is playing a professional victim.

The sneering host annoys me here more than anything, instead of butting in and discrediting one of the partisipants (which I feel harms the debate by making representation of each side unbalanced.) She should just ask the questions like an interviewer is supposed to in a neutral manner, then let them get on with it and debate one on one, that way they can both get their points across without being interrupted. Her obvious bias is nauseating, it just makes her look completely unprofessional.

likewise, I thought she was more moderate-but Islam warps the mind, so even if some of them are more rational overall, eventually they still side with their brethren. I have a muslim friend and his cousin recently became an atheist-like me, I thought he and I were on the same page but at the end of the day he still defends muslims, hates Jews/Americans etc. That's because Islam is as much a political ideology like Nazism, so even if one doesn't believe Allah is real, they can still agree with Islamic ideas. I don't trust any of them and deporting them would be the best solution-including my so-called muslim friends.
