This book should not be $60-$100. Definitely an amazing and transformative piece of work regarding how to become an artist

I happen to know the publishers did everything they could to make this book as affordable and accessible as possible. Their goal was to get it into the hands of art students, not to make a profit. It just costs a lot to make a high-quality hardcover artbook, with excellent historical essays. The scans of the plates are widely available online. And I offer a very affordable online course designed to guide art students through the process of copying a plate to atelier-standards at www.sadievaleriatelier.com
