I know Roman personally from Kyiv. He is one of the most nicest and most modest person I met in Kyiv. I can see the inner scares the young men will have for their entire life. I hope this nightmare ends soon and he and all the young soldiers will go back home to their families.

These scares were not necessary if America would have kept their hands off of Ukraine in 2014. what a strong person. I thought the question she asked about killing the enemy was a bit much, but he answered in an eloquent, powerful, and very thoughtful way. I wish I had half his courage. Not knowing when or if you will ever see your toddler again would be my undoing. His spouse is a lucky person.

Yeah I too found that question a tiny bit inappropiate, if I may say so, but I have read it is a common question civilians tend to ask soldiers. She obviously meant well, even though I personally wouldn't have asked it. But lovely interview nevertheless

Why was the question inappropriate? He is a young man who is killing his enemy, seems a reasonable question and in context. Might be an uncomfortable question but it is valid. I am sure the question is no where near as offensive to this man as the horrors he has already seen and endured. If he survives, he will return to family but will never be okay. Violent conflict is just dumb yet we will always end up in it, unless questions asking why are asked repeatedly and honest answers are found.

Exactly I’m glad I’m not the only one, she is talking and looking like she’s always about to laugh. She says “in your hand to hand combat, I heard you’re a sniper” like just because he’s not close to the fighting he doesn’t play a vital role. But she didn’t expect him to correct her. Idk she just seems like she doesn’t care that these men are dying. Then she asks when he will see his family again like tf does she think? Whoever telling her to ask these questions are dog water.

“Do you miss them?” At what point will reporters stop asking stupid questions?

This young man is always so hopeful and so positive. I see his videos on Reddit almost every day, and I admire him very much. I know I wouldn't have such a positive attitude if my country were being ravaged every day for over a year. America and our allies need to send Ukraine EVERYTHING it needs to push the Russians out for good.

There is no emotion in the moment, it is adrenaline and training and keeping it all together, any normal person after will think of this but when he does he has to keep it simple in his head it's what he had to do. As a normal person he will not enjoy the moment and will have relief it was them not him who lost their life. This man will need people support in the future I hope they will help him when that day comes.

I've watched him a few times on other videos, god I hope he makes it through this hell 🙏

I love Roman Trokhymets! I have been following him on instagram and youtube since the war started in Ukraine. He isn’t affraid to get personal and show emotions. His vlogs on the front in trenches are heartbreaking. You can really feel the horror and fears with him. 11 My intuition tells me they did this to themselves. Banks in America are collapsing everywhere. People are losing live savings, cost of living from gas deprived NATO countries has skyrocketed, people are suffering and barely making it. They need a distraction to keep the attention way from their collapse economy. Sadly, this is only a temporary distraction.
